I would be very interested in seeing a Pacquaio - Ugas rematch in January.

I think Pacquaio would have the time necessary to get physically and mentally prepared and give a better performance.

I think it’s clear that Pacquaio is on the decline as a fighter, however, I think it would be great to see him prove me wrong and show the world that he still has it.

I’m a huge Pacquaio fan but I think if he doesn’t come out stronger and faster this time around he should absolutely retire.

Pacquiao just announced that he will announce his decision in the month of October if he wants to go for the presidency or will continue boxing and win at least two more fights before he retires so the rematch is still up in the air and depends on Pacquiao's decision if he decides to continue boxing, I'm sure if he wants to continue boxing he will go for a rematch.

There's a lot of rumor going on that Manny wants to have a rematch in January which I believe is true cause Manny promised to have his last fight at home (Philippines), he also said his heart still fight and watching his fight with Ugas he can still rematch.
If the fight happens in January who does think will win (mind Manny was out of the ring for 2years before he fights Ugas)
I would like to see Manny Pacquiao retiring for good, age is not just a number, you slow down considerably and i do not want to see any major injuries at this stage for Manny and he contributed a lot to boxing and i want him to focus on his new path which is politics and hopefully if he wins then he will be busy with his political career and the best he can do is to promote the youngster from his country.
I also wish he can retire for good but we shouldn't use his last fight to judge that because I came out of a 2year absence before he had the fight and the last time I check every legendary boxer always hang their gloves when they are beaten by someone that deserves their belt (Ali, Tyson does it) which Ugas is not in that position and if it Spence that beat him, I'm sure Manny would have decided to retire because Spence is one of the fighters that deserves the belt.

Do you think this fight will hold?
Do believe Manny should retire?
If the fight happens in January who does think will win (mind Manny was out of the ring for 2years before he fights Ugas)?

Depends but high probability that it would able to push through...
Yes, but he only complained about his legs and if you watch the fight you'll see that Manny still has the capacity to defeat Ugas.

Manny should retire? Its up to him since he do only have the full decision in regards to that.. no fan nor his loved ones would able to force him on whats up to this mind.

Who would win? Possible comeback in this rematch but depending on how he conditioned his body and might take a shot for some win in the rematch.
The retirement decision is up to him cause he knows his body more than every one of us and his family but if the rematch does happen I expect Manny to beat Ugas.

I believe that Manny should retire.

He's got a lot of record and championship already on his wing and that's more than enough to forget about boxing if he's going to go with politics.

There is nothing more to prove even if he exited with a loss. He is not getting any younger. Enjoy his life while he can. He is lucky, he is not experiencing any damage on his body before retirement. Maybe he wants a rematch just for the sake of testing himself again and proving that he can still win. But Ugas got a good technique, so would be hard for him to overpower Ugas. I don't think that their tickets will sell also just like before.

Even if there is a rematch, I think the winner will still be the same because we already know that now is not the time for Manny anymore and the main reason is because there are problems with his legs and he is not young anymore.
and Manny should understand this and his loyal supporters must also be humble and accept the fact that Manny's time is over and let him become a legend in his time.
a rematch is not a good solution for manny and will only add to his defeat and arguably if this happens then I would call this a desperate attempt that will end in vain

I have a feeling that Pacquaio wants a win fight before it makes it's retirement, but he should be very careful as his conditions is not the same as before. He knows his body more than anyone else so if he still want to fight then that means he still can but if he's body reacts faster than his will then he must retire in boxing for good. He has nothing to prove anyway, he's still a legend.
Im assuming the same thing and as a legendary boxer your ego had been touched to quit or stop boxing on a losing state. It would be always a good impression if you do hang up your gloves
after you do win a certain fight not on the time when you do lost to someone which would really be a bad exit.Even for me when i do tend to make some retirement then it would really
be much prefer on having a better good look before retiring and i do have the hunch or feeling that he is really going for a rematch to make things clean but still a risky decision
because you dont know if 2x loss consecutive would instead to happen.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

The PPV did not sell well. It reportedly had 250,000 buys. There is not much interest in seeing a rematch because there was a clear winner so the buys would be even worse if they had a second fight. Unless Pacquiao agrees to have a significantly reduced purse, I don't see them doing this fight again. The promoter will probably try to make Ugas vs. Spence next and then hopefully the winner of that fight will fight the winner of Crawford vs. Porter and we can have an undisputed champion.

After Manny Pacquiao was beaten by Yordenis Ugas there's a lot of speculation that Manny should just learn a lesson from Mayweather which decided to retire instead of still have a professional fight. I agree with this since Manny is not getting younger and he's also considered running for the presidential election in spite that, retirement is not what Manny believes after he lost to Ugas in the fight everyone believes Manny ought to win due to his legs.
