Guess not. Coinbase only lists their "big" partners only. https://coinbase.com/clients

Well.... on that page they are claiming that they have 30,000+ clients. Can we trust this number? Bitpay claims that they have only around 20,000 customers... and as far as I know, Coinbase is much smaller when compared to Bitpay.  Sad

Also keep tracking bitpay's merchant directory - over 20k globally at last count

Bitpay keep their site updated with frequent modifications. So it is more reliable.

Is a similar directory available from Coinbase as well?

Sad, I don't see any bitcoin shops marked in my country but probably they are just not updated. And this is useful tool, thanks for sharing.

Good thing it can be updated. It is also great to know the increasing number of businesses that are into cryptocurrencies too.

Most people in western countries have very little incentive to start using bitcoin.

Why didn't they use bitpay to accept bitcoin? I heard the fee is much lower than credit card.

Most people in western countries have very little incentive to start using bitcoin. Surely the biggest potential lies in developing countries where many don't have access to banking facilities but do have internet access. I was travelling in several parts of south-east Asia last year & was amazed to see people living in what could only be described as extremely primitive housing but still sitting outside using their laptops. Presumably these people also have access to smartphones.

I like the fact that users can update it.
It's a shame there are not many businesses in my city listed though, I'm sure a lot more accept bitcoin.
