Growers International is a coin you need to look at.

GRWI  $1.1M Market Cap - 1,024,180 GRWI Circulating supply - 5% POS in a couple months, currently on a staking schedule now. At 0.7 per stake, will increase to 1.8 per stake and then after that it will be 5%.

For me I think this marijuana related token is not useless because there are also people needs marijuana for medical purposes also!
It has also potential to success because their are people who also invest on it.

I really feel like all these are useless tokens. Marijuana becomes legalized in lot of western countries. So they don't need their own tokens. They can just use bitcoin or litecoin for even faster payments.

I was reading about Paragon the other day. You should include this to your list of marijuana coins.. although it just doesn't make any sense to me.

why paragon? could you post an url about this coin?

every exchange has a typical "pattern" of crypto that they can exchange. it's quitly impossible for the same exchange have all crypto in the world Sad
personally I dislike this type of token customized to a certain product (whatever is the product) because with btc you have the potential to buy/sell everything (likewise real money!)

Potcoin went huge after people saw Dennis Rodman in North Korea with a Potcoin shirt.

Anyways Marijuana isn't Illegal everywhere, It's legal in my state. I just don't see a reason why it exists. My money has worked perfectly fine to buy weed. Also why not just use another established coin?

I had no idea there were so many marijuana cryptos with millions in market caps

These coins must be struggling to differentiate amongst themselves. This is the problem when there are no new ideas. But we shouldn't be complaining. Even Bitcoin has so many versions / forks these days.  Grin

I agree, what is there that would make any of them unique?

I realized even the smallest coin could land a deal tomorrow and explode overnight, but I'd also see more of a future in a particular one if one of them really had a well laid out roadmap.  Potcoin seems to be the only one to do this.

I know potcoin is based off of litecoin, and I think Dopecoin is based off bitcoin?  Can anyone confirm Dopecoin and what the others are based on, perhaps to give me one validity/future over another?

Also this is something I want to get into heavy now and hold for 3-5 years.

I was around and could have bought bitcoins for $5 and I hate myself for it lol.  I didnt even hear of Ethero or all of the other ones until a few days ago.  I knew of Bitcoin, litecoin & dogecoin last time I looked deep into cryptocurrency.  Boy has that market exploded.  But so has legal cannabis.  Everything is going to continue to be more and more digitized.

But I am also involved in the cannabis industry and easily see the adoption and future of cannabis niched, cryptocurrency.

I think the coin that can put together an app for quick & easy sign up, buy & transfer for goods in a store will be the one that explodes.  It seems potcoin has this initial platform right now, although it's not available on apple, so I can't really test how good of a platform/process it really is.

The cannabis coin doesn't make sense for me, Because it looks cannabis is illegal stuff in every country even for the medical usage, the next cannabis coin is paragon but that was having same idea with the old coin, I think to move to another direction rather than buy cannabis token.

I am very interested in buying only marijuana related cryptocurrencies.

I know of the following:

Potcoin - Market Cap - $20 Million - $0.0957
Dopecoin - $2.7 million - $0.025
Marijuanacoin - $80,000 - $0.06819
Cannabiscoin - $2.1 million - $0.028297
Cannacoin - $204,000 - $0.043592

I've also read of another called "Weedcoin" but can't seem to find anything about it.

My first question is - is there ONE exchange that offers all of these for buy/sell/hold?

It will be a lot easier to manage a single dashboard exchange for multiple marijuana cryptos.

I've seen Bittex.com suggested, although I'm not sure if they offer access to all of those various MMJ coins yet, but I've seen so many online exchanges fold up and everyone loses their coins, I'd really prefer to store these on my desktop/USB drive in a safe.

Secondly, I know Potcoin is the biggest and really the 1st of these types.  I know they had the Rodman/N. Korea controversy a few months ago and it seems the hype is fading and the price is coming down.

The question is - what company ISN'T into just hype and actually making strides in the legal cannabis industry to really take a foothold & be the standard?  Potcoin also seems to be misleading/lie about certain benchmarks within their roadmap - so can a company like this really be trusted?

People say that these marijuana cryptos fill a void in a non-banking industry and when the Feds legalize it, there will be no point in a marijuana crypto.

But if that were the case, then why do all other cryptos do well and have a large market, that have access to legal banking all over the world?

My point is, I think even with federal legalization, which is still years away more than likely, I still see the need for niche based cryptos in particular markets like marijuana.

Everyone argues why shouldn't the MMJ industry just adopt bitcoin?  Well I think the industry wants to carve out its own sector and brand within itself.

I also feel the only way any of these are going to really take off is to gain market share and sign up as many dispensaries and growers as possible to use this as an alternative, possible even with a discounted price for using MMJ cryptos.

So what company has the team and ability to gain physical market share to increase their value?

Thoughts?
