sale was well below market. Buyers of the coins started the market going and they are now dumping the coins for massive instant profits. Once people realise they were duped they will dump as well. There will be a crash and the SR buyers will re-buy at a really low price as well as profit massively from their manipulation of the market.

Not everything is a illuminati-controlled powers-that-be subversion profiteering scheme.

While I believe in long term growth of bitcoin, it is hard not to laugh at post that make silly claim.

It will only take less than 30 days to realize how unfounded claimed this thread is.

BNP Paribas paid $800 for all of the seized coins.

We are going to the moon in July

I dont understand what they have to do with July? If someone else would buy it would be May or August?
Because we are currently in July. Aka we are going to the moon this month

This was already proven wrong. Buyers who bid at market lost and have said so. So quit lying and shut up.
will not be "proven" wrong until we have solid "proof" to the contrary. It is quite possible the market is being played and some millionaire is making money off all this "to da moon" stuff.

I have just provided a counter narrative to the speculation forum. I know it hurts to hear bad news.

Such unbelievable stupidity.

Even before the auction ended you could have known the coins would not go for below market price. It only takes 1 bidder to bid above market for the coins to sell above market.

On top of that several players claim to be outbid, there's no reason for them to lie as it will damage their reputation if we would find out about their lie, it's not worth the risk as such lies will always be found out. Therefore we can logically conclude they sold for above market price.

Of course some people will try to manipulate bitcoin, but bit the way you described. Bitcoin is unlikely to crash below $630 from here and once it passed $666 and $680 you can assume it will be UP, UP, UP.

I've got some speculation for you. You are cash poor. You want more bitcoins but cant afford them. So you try to talk the price down to convince yourself you still have a chance to buy more than you currently can. Obvious story is obvious.

A bank auctioning for the coins seems realistic, but maybe that raise can wait a little more, i need to buy some more coins

I believe we're going to the moon.
And I think it's possible that BNP bought the coins above market price.
But what would be the correlation? The coins are sold, it's a good sign, I just don't see yet how this will ignite the next bubble. I used to this the us marshals would publicly reveal the results, but as it didn't happen, I wonder how/when we'll get out of this sideways motion.
