What evidence do you have that the scammer has not been banned?
Is there any evidence that they have been sending PM's or Posting?

I see that the same day they sent you the PM, was the last time they've posted. It is entirely possible that action has already been taken, that day and the account has been banned. Meaning you've been carrying on without a purpose for quite some time now. There is no reason to tag it, if this is the case, because the account would be unusable.

"Real" proof would be something that is verifiable by a third party, preferably staff or another reputable source. Screenshots and notepad do not fit into this category.

Please refer to his, as it has been accepted since the dawn of man that these types of proofs you are providing are not considered gospel.

That's not obvious at all. We are trying to give you advice on how to properly report what is happening and you are being resistant, because you think that you know best. This to me, makes it more obvious that you are "playing a dick here" than it does that you are trying to report a scammer.


Proof comes in many forms, and we are not saying the screenshot is worthless, but it is almost worthless. Again, you can't seem to shut up about notepad, for some reason.

It is useless to report phishers and scammers if you are going to do it improperly and expect everyone to bow down to your flawed mentality.

What is real proof mate ? Something based on nothing and written on notepad with full loco notepad story ?
In all forums and world wide screenshots its the only valid proof !
They can be easy checked are they faked or not.

First of all, nobody has accused you of faking the screenshot, so I'm unsure why you're acting so defensive. It makes me honestly second guess whether or not you did in fact fake the screenshot. The concern is that it can be fakes, and has been faked in the past. Regardless of your reputation or their reputation, the possibility exists that screenshots can be faked with ease. Motive and stake have little to do with the validity of proof, security or integrity around here. We do not make exceptions, and your screenshots might as well be a "notepad story", to put it to you in your own words.


Are you suggesting that screenshots are the only way to prove a truth claim? This seems foolish, naive and uninformed in the worst possible way. There are many more convincing ways to prove what you are saying, and one of them is getting staff to verify what you are saying.

I don't think you're faking the PM. But real proof is required to leave negative trust. Otherwise it can become an easy way to frame anyone in the future.
When reporting the PM I advice you to choose hilariousandco as he seems to be the most active admin. You may re-report it to him if you didn't include him the first time.

Dude, why would i fake pm from mr NO ONE and obviously everything screenshot based is called PROOF, everything not screenshot based is called "notepad story"...

There are many ways for people to fake screenshots of PMs if there is nobody to verify it. The stakes here are not extraordinarily high, but it still would be worth it to verify with a staff member/mod to make sure that it is actually taking place as you say it is. The person you are suspecting of being a phisher has not posted any links that seem too suspicious publicly, so without any verifiable information it would seem inappropriate to press action against somebody while there is still reasonable doubt.

I'd say that most likely his account is hacked. But for now, he should definitely be tagged for spreading phishing links.

This has become a pretty common occurence these days using the same format. It started late last year so it has been around for a few months already. Thy always uses the same phishing website(myrippleaddress i believe it is).

If you have clicked on that link and entered any data you will want to change your password and email straightaway. Otherwise, you are risking your account security and you may potentially become a phishing link spreader without knowing.
