Mark has it’s own decision and choice to name his pet. We can’t comment on his personal life.
And to give more light to you then he posted it in Facebook not in twitter.
Not everyone is Elon musk who do tweets for his own profits.
Due to Elon’s negative tweet against Bitcoin , Bitcoin has hugely failed down.
Many people faced huge amount of losses just because of him.
Nevertheless Let’s see when again the price touches rocket. Wish all the BTC holders best of luck.

I would say that this post is more in line with Zucker's political views. He is a product of the fiat system and he doesn't have anything to gain by supporting cryptocurrency. Perhaps like mv1986 mentioned, he is indirectly implying that he wants to kill Bitcoin and consume it. He tried that once, when he came up with his Libra shitcoin. But unfortunately for him, Libra flopped miserably. Perhaps he still thinks that he can destroy Bitcoin, by inventing something which will eventually replace BTC.

I think Libra did not only flop miserably because there was trouble in Congress. I think Zuckerberg also realized how there was forming an opposition within society and in particular from proponents of decentralization, freedom of choice and privacy, which at the time was a massively growing sector, and still is.

He doesn't have anything to gain as you correctly pointed out and I have this gut feeling that he will never take position on Bitcoin, surely not one that is pro Bitcoin.

What is the big issue about this?

Why make this an issue when Mark is now having no popularity and there are no even news coming from his side.

I think Max is in reference to Max Keiser whose a big advocate of bitcoin. Maybe he's hinting facebook will allow bitcoin payments on marketplace.

Yeah, maybe we will see something like that from Facebook soon. Many people think that they may buy Bitcoin after this but they don't think about this possibility also. But after Elon Musk stopped allowing Bitcoin payments, I wonder if Zuckerberg will have doubts about it also.

I agree with you. A person in business will do nothing unless it's beneficial to them. I think all crypto links are banned on Facebook before due to spam by bounties hunter. Lol couldn't hold my laugh while going through the comment section of the posts, people were really being very funny under the post with their comments. Anyway, I don't really see anything bad about that, though I did see some people that it didn't go down well with, and they had some bad comments to drop to express their anger lol.

What Mark Zuckerberg did here shows that he has some kind of interest in cryptocurrency, and this is my first time of seeing him mention Bitcoin, which means he might be holding some bitcoins privately, although I do know for sure that Bitcoin is part of what motivated him to take a move to create Libra (now known as Diem), just that I haven't seen him mention that word before. I believe a lot of people will also be influenced by this, and there are likely some people who are following him that doesn't know about Bitcoin and they would interest in researching and knowing about it, which is good.

I think Mark is just trying to be liked, as he has had a struggle with that. He sees people like Musk and various celebs talking about Bitcoin and whipping the public into a frenzy and so I think this was his attempt to be cute/do the same.

Well guys, this may be a sign that Zucker's hatred towards Bitcoin is melting away. First of all, his anti-Bitcoin stance was triggered probably because of the involvement of the Winklevoss twins. Now Bitcoin has grown much bigger than the Winklevii and he don't need to bother about them. And hopefully he has realized that integration of Bitcoin into Facebook can be mutually beneficial. I don't know if it's correct to judge the person's character from a movie, but, when I recall the movie The Social Network this kind of actions don't seem that surprising.

Maybe it's just for some kind of show because of the current trend which is the word "Bitcoin". Nothing will change in the market nor in the investor's mind because this kind of thing is non connected to any source of exchange or other crypto platforms. so it simply implies some kind of show-off thing. On the other hand, people who believe in the conspiracy theory think that this might be some kind of hidden message or some kind of prediction in the future. whatever it is, it has nothing to do with the crypto market and we don't really care.

I could name my dog bitcoin or dogecoin too if I want. People nowadays like to dig in too much into stuff when sometimes it's all just superficial. Elon has been a very common victim of this in the past but after the internet got used to his constant memeing they eventually stopped checking, perhaps we can divert the energy we expend in digging up unimportant stuff like this to something that will help us earn something in the future. What I've understood so far is that it's likely the rumor that has been said before about Facebook. The other one is also, that he's just wanting to get the attention as Doge and Elon is the one that gets most of the attention in the social media and worldwide currently.

Posts like he did gets the attention of me and probably most of you guys too. But in all sum of it, I just think just as you guys that he don't want Elon to just get all the social media exposure that he gets, he must be in - probably that's on his mind.

The earliest post of his that became more popular than this one was in January, and it was about the Capitol incident. I think he is frustrated that his Libra coin is not penetrating the market very well. so he finally decided to follow the upheaval of the bitcoin market and let go of his Libra ideals on the cutting edge.

Things don't work like that. Zucker could have integrated Bitcoin to Facebook and it could have been mutually beneficial for both the sides. But he had other things in mind. He wanted to steal the technology and hype from Bitcoin and wanted to use it for himself (if we believe the Winklevii, Zucker did the same thing back in 2003-04). Unfortunately for Zucker, this time his blatant plagiarism wasn't received well and he had to shelve his plans. My advice to him still stands. It is never late to become a Bitcoiner. Integration of Bitcoin in to Facebook can do wonders. All Zucker needs to do is to put his ego on a shelf.

At first I thought that he had already named his long-issued stablecoin, which was first supposed to be released under the name Libra, then Diem, and now it is generally unknown with what name, because, as it turned out, there is a cryptocurrency company in England that already long ago released its token with the name Diem. Zuckerberg postponed the next issue of this stable coin to January of next year, however, it is not known how the problem with the double was solved.
