Another site where you can get relatively detailed information on Bitfinex's BTCUSD pair as well the longs and shorts is Datamish (click for direct link), and the site also shows the total number of longs and shorts on Bitfinex as well as the daily interest or maintenance cost for those longs in percentages as well. The site also shows how many shorts are hedged and non-hedged as well, and I use it from time for time to view liquidations on Bitmex too.

If you want to change the timeframe of the data you're viewing, simply click at the top right of the page on the clock icon and you can customize it from there.

I have tried this using Telegram.
Search CryptoWhale, this is a bot. And jus type /bfx
You can see some of coins with their respective percentage on long position and short positions.
Note: this is just on Bitfinex exchange. But I also saw some telegram bot related or something like this, I just can't recall it.

afaik there is no way to figure out such data,
there is no nametag on buy/sell orders so you can't tell whether it is short/long position of someone
chart gives you basic information of trade volume and opening/closing price in candlestick formations
which you can analyze and figure out price support, resistance and short/long market trend

If you happen to be talking about Bitmex, every contract represents one buyer and one seller and so the long-to-short ratio always truly remains 1:1, but it's currently not possible to know the leverage of those longs and shorts, and it's different to the BTCUSDLONGS and BTCUSDSHORTS that you can view for Bitfinex on sites like TradingView.

Iirc, there are bots in telegram that could tell what you want. I'm not particularly sure though since i've never experienced using them myself. Exchanges should have them, I just don't know how much information it actually gives out to other concurrent users/traders. Well according to other comments, there are, so there should be. Try asking around telegram groups tbh, people should answer quickly there.

It depends on the exchanges. In Bitsdaq, you can see more than 50 orders have been placed, and so are Crex24. but on large exchanges like Binance, Huobi, Bithump, I don't see that, because their trading volume is too much and listing lots of orders is not so useful. but you can measure buy or sell orders right now by looking at the volume at the bottom of the chart, which is quite accurate and shows that the sellers or buyers are getting stronger.

There are many ways to know the number of long or short orders, you can use tradingview to check the number of long / short orders on Bitfinex, (just search for BTCUSD LONG or BTCUSD SHORT). Or you can also use telegram bot. Some exchanges like Okex will statistically count the number of long / short orders

I do not really understand your point, what do you mean see open positions buy and sell from traders,? You can see in the orders menu on the exchange, but what is seen is traders who make pending orders.

The only way I know to view Bitfinex longs vs. shorts is on Tradingview. You need to load up the free custom indicator called "Bitfinex BTC Shorts & Longs." It pull the stats from Bitfinex's API. BFXdata.com used to be good for that (as well as other interesting charts) but it's down now.

For Bitmex, you can see open interest, interest rates, and liquidations here:
https://tensorcharts.com/u/bitmexstats
https://www.bitmex.com/app/contract/XBTUSD

There is no real commitment of traders data though.
