I know how difficult life have been for those without good paying jobs and they will succumb to depression.

It is very necessary or will I say important to make oneself visible in other to reach out to people that need your help or service but one of the major problem is confident and trust most people have a great skills, understanding on something etc but they don't trust themselves and they don't have confident in themselves that is why sometimes they are afraid to make themselves visible ( to start the process) though it required a high level of tolerance. One thing about life is that, the more you teach someone or people a particular thing the more you understand it and the more you  grow.

Na just thing, anything talent or skill wey we get make we make use of am well, where e go benefit us and the society, make we no dey wait for government work, we we fit even create employment for people wey dey find work but we no go do am, instead we dey interested to work for office work, office work no sweet for me, because you work for hours, and dem go even pay u small small money and e no go fit get time for urself or get time to spend with ur loved ones, instead to be creative, if na handwork wey we get, make we open shop, get apprentice wey we go teach work or we fit get person wey go dey under us, we go dey pay, by that time, we don create job opportunities for them and we go dey make our cool money, and we no go fit lack and we no go even wait for month end before we get pay because we they see our money steady and we no go fit go bankrupt. Many benefits dey wen we market ourselves and be useful to ourselves and people around us too.

Just like this saying that our people normally say that you can not light a candle and hide it under a table, so it is with our skill life. Ones you don get the necessary skill na to go find wey make you show up where necessary. If you which to make am you no supposed hide your skill.

Nowadays, people get game from social medias and I have seen that tiktok app has been a place for product promotions, so if one has something that you think people will like to patronize you have to show them and surely within a certain time they will locate you.

Just as you said here in the forum, me I get skill wey I want advertise here oo but the truth come be say the opportunity never come out make I do am as planned. I be graphics designer, I get alot of customers but my academics schedule dey make not dey deliver on time and I noticed that it's bring my trust down, so some times we need the necessary things to show ourselves because you no go do adverts when you no fit deliver. But generally I agree with the fact say showing ones skill is very necessary for progress.

OP you tried for this topic wey you create because wetin dey worry most people for this part of the world na proud, like high self esteem. How can someone have a good skill and just sits and wait for people to reach out to them without providing means by which people can know about his skills and possibly sort for their service. People go just get good skills but them no go show up, some people when they ask for their service they will start charging high amount of money and until it goes there way, they will not give it out to people.

You go see person go go school finish come graduate with better results but instead of making his profession open so that people can hire him for service, they will just relax as if job will look for them rather than them looking for jobs. Sometimes I use to think is ego and feeling too proud about oneself but the real truth is that it is foolishness that will make someone to become too fulll of himself simply because he feels no one has attained his level of knowledge hence they will always look for him for solutions.

Inasmuch as life is concerned, everything has replacement because one day you will be shocked to discover that someone else also knew what you know then you will become humble and calm. It saddens me how we have high level of intellectual men and women but most of them hoard their knowledge as if someone wants to hijack the knowledge they've got.
