C'mon people, this is just a bit fucked... Let the guy live ffs. If you don't have any other way to contact the person other than through this forum, it's probably fair to assume they aren't actually close to you IRL. Roll Eyes

Let the guy breathe a bit, after all, it's hodl time right now, let it go and stop the sig spamming bullshit "thoughts and prayers"...

Honestly, if this was about me, I'd be a bit pissed right now. Fuck me, who cares? I like the user as much as everyone, but did I notice him missing? No! Why? Cuz I have a life outside this shit-2009 SMF (Smack my face?) software "board". Roll Eyes

You guys need to go spend some coins before this crash bleeds us all dry, and get a life. Roll Eyes

Cheers

Actually he's been inactive since the end of March and came back a few days ago to make a couple of posts.  As a couple of others have pointed out, now that a couple of the more shall we say "colourful" characters have finally left the the forum they either have no one to spar with, or, have other real life things to deal with.

I don't think it's a health issue as they probably would have said something when they came back online a few days ago which makes me lean towards other reasons.  If they are unwell (Covid or other health issues) I wish them a speedy recovery.

Some users outlive their need for this forum. There are over 3 million accounts and i'm sure more then 1.5 million accounts are inactive by this time. Users move on to different things in life. Maybe he/she is just taking a break, maybe something bad happened, or maybe they are done with crypto. Whatever the reason, I wish them the best.
I am pretty sure he is on a vacation somewhere in a remote place. Bitcoin priced over $60k what else one needs if they have a good number of coins?

Indeed! Just looked at his post history. Very regular and suddenly stopped! I am assuming there will be many more users who are inactive in the recent time. A database check will reveal it very quickly.

I hope it's just his usual forum breaks that he enjoys sometimes. If you look at his post history, you will notice that he doesn't post for weeks at times for example, recently, he never posted for the whole month of April 2021.
He's a great asset in a fight against scammers.

That's certainly true, and I think most members who move on from bitcointalk do so without the fanfare of, say, Lauda and Vod, i.e, they just quietly disappear.

Marlboroza seems to me like the kind of person who would do just that (at least from what little I know about him from his posts).  On the other hand, a few weeks isn't really a long time and as others have stated he could just be taking a break from the forum.  Lots of members have done that.  And though we've had a few deaths in the past year, I wouldn't immediately jump to that conclusion when someone doesn't post here for a while.  I think most members on this forum are young, though I certainly don't have any data to back up my suspicion.

In any case, if he comes back he comes back.  If not, I also wish him well.  He's done a lot of good for this forum.

Yes, it can make me a little relieved, about the current state and condition of @marlboroza, it makes me no longer have to worry about our one friend, that he is fine in real life, some things he is not active at the moment as you guys mentioned, thanks for the information.

@marlboroza, I always remember your advice at that time, PM, I hope you have a better day.

I hope everything is fine and always protected by God, amen.

A few weeks ago I felt the absence of a forum member and I contacted him privately. It did not take him more than half an hour to respond me.

From the conversations with @marlboroza on our local board some time ago (iirc beginning of the year), I got the impression that he simply doesn't want to force his activity on the forum if he doesn't have anything to add or is too bored at the moment, and that's been going on for months now.
It happens. People change and their interest swings. I used to make over 100 posts a week back in the time but these days I could not even make 30 posts. I used to hang upon WO a lot but these days I a week one or two days I make few posts there. I used to make a lot of posts in sportsbet.io community thread but these days I don't even look at the topic at all.

That is a perfectly normal behavior on any other forum, which is somewhat different here as members are paid to post, so we often force ourselves to write even though we don't have anything new to add that hasn't been said few times already in the same topic.

3 weeks of time is too short to speculate on him.
Not: 'speculate' me with: @Marlboroza, ever, communicating via PM, you can't understand what I mean.

Bottom line: I want to make sure that @Marlboroza is well at the moment and healthy, because he often gives me advice on this forum, it is my concern that he is safe and sound.

Note: this thread is not about 'speculating'. loyalty towards friends: @Marlboroza.

Well that's what I mean like the comment: @lovesmayfamilis only those who understand can read my mind thanks for the comments, you are also his friends, @marlboroza hope you are healthy and still fine.

I don't want to think about anything bad. But I also noticed his absence. For me, Marlboroza has always been a great authority, I followed his example to look for scams, you can say that I have always considered him my example and teacher.
I hope Marlboroza decided to take a little break from the forum, as his latest posts show little activity. In any case, we miss you. Please accept our kindest and best wishes to you.

I think whatever you think of Marlboroza right now is what other people think when you were inactive for the previous few weeks. People ask why you leave the forum without any news even though they have the right to do so without saying goodbye. But we all hope the forum contributor are doing well including Marlboroza. If Marlboroza had a busy in the real life, it was only natural and we wouldn't decide and speculate about it right now. In my opinion, 3 weeks of time is too short to speculate on him. I hope he come back soon.

My question for marlboroza....!
1. Are you well in these two weeks....!
2. Are you healthy or are you experiencing other things.
For example:
• illness, busyness, family problems or something to work on.
I think you can also ask him directly via PM.  Wink

So far, I often see notifications about members in this forum who are sad, grieving and so on, both in the forum and in the real world.

Do not assume this thread is negative to someone why they are inactive for a period of 1-2-3 weeks, think positively about real life to do or other things related to individual life.

Don't say leave the Forum for good.

The purpose of this topic I have a question hidden in myself about inactivity: @Marlboroza for two weeks is almost three weeks since 02 May 2021 is inactive.

marlboroza

My question for marlboroza....!
1. Are you well in these two weeks....!
2. Are you healthy or are you experiencing other things.
For example:
• illness, busyness, family problems or something to work on.

This question all comes from my own heart, because I did not see @marlboroza active the last few weeks, because as far as I know he is very active especially in the Reputation section, Meta etc.

Let's just say this thread is a form of my concern for @Marlboroza, as a friend in this Bitcointalk forum.

I hope @Marlboroza will be well for now and live a healthy life, hopefully it will be protected by God.

My hope @Marlboroza is fine.
