Bump this up!

Make sure everyone sees this.

If you used the same password on LTC4You anywhere else, CHANGE IT

Those stupid dickheads, who in the hell keeps plain text passwords these days?  How many times does this have to happen before site operators quit doing this?

in the text only email, or passwords? I only see emails

If they can get the emails they would also be able to access the passwords  Wink

I have just came across a Reddit post stating that around 5,500 emails + plaintext passwords have been leaked by some site:

http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1w1ta2/a_list_of_roughly_5500_emailsusernamespasswords/

I suggest you check whether or not your email is on that list.

OP is a huge dick by hiding the site but the top 2 candidates it seems are LTC4You.com and Cryptsy.com

Edit: Probably not Cryptsy as the passwords were in plaintext. However, please use throwaway passwords when signing up for pools/faucets as most of them use the same script (which means they also save your password in plaintext).

Edit #2: It's confirmed to be LTC4You.com. Here is the site confirming it: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/01/25/ltc4you-com-emails-possibly-password-leaked/. I'm seriously pissed that they kept a 5,500 leak hidden just to protect their reputation.
