Actually that iflewtoday32 dude did the same (start trade, escrow with master-P, no reply anymore) with "cryptosun" on 21 dec. Master-P also said same reasons (PC crash etc.) but did refund his BTC1.

In addition this iflewtoday32 already has 2 legit-looking scam accusations from some months ago, so I left negative trust to him (not replying to those accusations and locking that thread seems enough to me.) Not fully sure if related to this Master-P scam, but he should at least reply to the previous 2 scam accusations and these 2 "no-reply" trades.

Actually, I know cryptosun pretty well. He did contact me and I know about this already. But since it was out if context, I didn't put this up here. On 20th itself cryptosun contacted and told me about this. But master-P sorted out this, so I thought it was okay. But now, this turned to be a huge gigantic, enormous scam.

Anyways, thanks for putting it on here.

If things keep happening like this bitcointalk could change its name in Scam Paradise.
It's really hard to trust people behind their keyboards.

Are you sure that you will be able to post his dox in this forum (bitcointalk.org)? Maybe it is against the rules, I don't remember.
Its not against the rules to compile information freely available on the internet. He is AFAIK giving master-p a chance to fix all this

Oh ok, so the personal info (such name, surname etcc) of master-P is public and well know / easily to find on internet. Then I hope that master-P  will fix everything very soon.

Hoping for the same.

Quoting to make sure the message is received.

Master-P, I am giving you until January 1st to return the entirety of the held coins. If they are not returned I will publicly release your dox at my earliest convenience any time on or after the 1st.

Thanks for doing this. I appreciate your decision. It's a good mixture of human values and severe threat. Tongue

I try to give people an opportunity to redeem themselves first before taking severe actions like this. I have had people wise up at the last second before and return funds this way. It makes no sense for someone to be stuck in court or a cell over something they can still repair. Restorative justice is always best for everyone involved, it is a shame it seems like such an antiquated ideology for most people. Unfortunately they usually don't take advantage of this opportunity...

OP, was there any communication between the two of you after that last screenshot you posted?  It looks like he just gave you a torrent of stalling excuses, correct?  This is disheartening, and hopefully it'll all come to a good resolution.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but I'm not all that hopeful, unfortunately.

The funds haven't been moved from any of the addresses. Can't even decide if it's a good sign or a bad one.

I hope you get your money back, same as everyone caught up in this horrible mess.

I think master-p and/or the new account owner are doing some serious thinking right now and wondering if the hell that's about to be unleashed on them is actually worth what they could steal.

I just hope for the best for all of us who have their money stuck. And unleashed? Nothing's being unleashed I guess. No matter what, our bitcoins will be still be with them. Your opinion is highly appreciated, please let me know.

the iflewtoday user is likely to be master-p himself facilitating this trade to get coins sent to a "trusted source"

Somehow, I don't believe so. The user iflewtoday32 just posted a thread in Currency Exchange board, and I was the one who initiated the thing.

So what's the conclusion like ? Did you receive your coins?

Of course not (yet). If I had been, then why would I open a scam accusation thread?

iflewtoday32 (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/iflewtoday32-343767) and me started a trade on 20th December 2015 for his PM for my BTC. I recommended Mitchełł (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mitchell-113670) as escrow. But, iflewtoday32 contacted master-P and setup the deal. Seeing the trust, I was okay with it. So, this was the conversation between the three of us. What happened next is in the form of images below.

For those who would like to see the address and transaction on blockchain, here are the links:

Sure, I can help with this transaction. I've included the other party "grtthegreat" in this PM. Please use the "Reply to all" function when replying to the messages whenever necessary.

Please confirm the terms with each other via PM and include me in each response so I know how much I should be expecting to escrow, any specific release terms, etc. Thanks Smiley
