i tough the lack of fun was the main problem for the project to not becoming interesting for the community, but i have noticed some very good polished, developed and full of fun crypto games such as War Field still not accepted by the players, every time i login into War Field i see the servers empty !

It seems that FUN GAMING + CYTPTO seems not what the community is interested (As opposite of expectations), and that discourages me from further development of such project.

Quite surprised to see you willing to sell this game. I thought we gave you enough input to somewhat improved it. Why don't you work on it's marketing first before letting it go? And since you haven't established the game itself so it's going to be very difficult to make a sales pitch, just saying. Just follow @Vod's advise, at this point this is the most viable solution.

Didn't see this earlier but Vod's point stands. You won't find anyone wanting to buy it. You do have a basic idea that's not half bad. You just need to pretty it up, definitely. And that's not necessarily graphics. Some of your most dedicated gamers might invest a lot more time if you also hire a writer or writers to draft up a long story line, several campaigns, and then allow users to submit their own campaigns and story lines. I'm sure you could code that in, and reward completion with some rare graphic, skin or in-game item or boost. Seriously, that takes away the boredom of grinding for a bit and adds hours of gameplay.

Might even do it myself if the price is right and the game feels good (can't see it right now). But couldn't create an account. Error message: "Can't store data".

If there is an industry or a niche where Bitcoin can conquer this is the gaming industry, it is a billion dollar industry if we can tap this industry we can make a huge demand on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I remember Digibyte used to have a reward system for gamers, Crypto developers should explore this niche.

A worthy suggestion to be followed. Grin and who knows if someone will agree into the terms.

There are currently a huge demand for games that generate "Bitcoin" income.   Wink
Not really a huge demand but most players will always prefer to get Bitcoin and other top alts than on shitty tokens. hehe

Its too early to surrender and give up to this project imho.

Why do you want to sell it? You have only started with this project and you already selling it? I managed to run the game in a new browser and I think it has a lot of potential.

Start a survey and ask the people to give inputs on the game and what they want in the game and then get a team together to implement those changes. Also create Banners for the game and launch a small signature campaign to create awareness and interest in the game.

and that's the main issue, lack of advertising and marketing, maybe someone willing to partnership by his advertising abilities or some budget rather than buying it.

I think you are going about it the wrong way...

No one on this forum will want to buy it, since a lot of us can program the same ourselves.

What we can't do (left brained) is make it look pretty - that is what we will pay for.

Are the graphics in that video rendered in 3D? It kinda lags and that isn't a very good experience for someone playing with their money. I like the tutorial very much. You see even though you claim it's a skill based game but eventually, the one with a lot of bitcoins will always have an upper hand to buy premium stuff if I understood the tutorial correctly.
Always the main thing for those who have funds where they do always have the edge compared to those who dont mind on buying premium items.

You guessed right , the lag because the battle is in real 3D mode, when you actually play you will have smoother and better quality experience (provided your graphics card is not too old). regarding the second issue; When attacking someone for bitcoin (Credits), the system chooses an opponent equal (-5% +5%) to your army strength, thus the richer players won't have the upper hand. They only will have the opportunity to fight for higher stakes, because the amount of credits they could win or lose depends on the army strength.

Good point,
User input is crucial against other human players (for xp or credits). while playing against a computer players means that you are playing against auto generated computer player who has his attributes "ALMOST" equal to your units in the range of (Easy: -4 +2, Medium -2 +2, Hard -1 +4)

I am alive but in hibernation.
You upgrade your army units using xp points (Not credits), you can earn xp points by fighting computer or even human players (Attack for XP). When attacking a human player to gain credits the system chooses a random opponent which is (in the range of +5% -5%) equal to your army. Therefore you can't choose who to attack. You have to choose what attribute of each unit type to upgrade to have an efficient army.

I played the game (few days back). I always win with the computer in easy mode and lost with the medium and hard level.
It is only choosing the opponent , then one click and the result is displayed.
where is the actual gameplay where user inputs are crucial it does not look to me you are taking any user inputs during the play.

Why can't you choose who to attack?

2 reasons:
- Avoid money laundering criminal activity.
- If the player attacks someones army after examining his opponent's forces he will an unfair advantage over an army which is passive on the server and waits to be attacked, therefore the system calculates the strength of both armies with different mixtures and executes the battle. That means , the player has to decide what attributes of each type to upgrade in order to have an efficient army that could be successful against others armies of the same strength.

Isn't it the objective in the first place? try to scan the battlefield with the potential to attack and win? That's why you really need to guard your armies so that you're not going to be attack or chances of you being attack by someone is lessen? If someone has a army which is just passive then you can't do anything about it (or other its' their strategy). Anyways, goodluck though, I'm just sharing my thoughts because I used to play this kind of games before.

Might be a good idea though. to added spy. A player will simply scan the battlefield and will go spy someone to see if he can attack it. At least the player will be given a chance who he chooses to attack. So someone will really need to monitor his account and try to upgrade so that the chances of being attack by a large or small army is slim.

Maybe I am missing something here, but if there is no luck then why would people compete? If someone has a better army than you, why would you even fight them?

I'm also confused here. I mean how can you  or upgrade your army? You need to buy more game credits (bitcoin) then? So everything is based on skills or if you have more credits then you can upgrade and defeat different players. There might be the issues of colluding as well, I think you also need to factor that in.

Thanks for the interest , mostly appreciated.

Here is the game rules in the most simplified way:
- You have an army of fighters
- Buy new units or upgrade them using experience points -> experience points gained by fighting computer or other human players
- Offer the upgraded units to other players on the market (Like card trading games such as CryptoKitties , Spells of genesis etc...) in exchange for Credits (Bitcoins).
- Challenge other players army (You bet that your team will win) -> the battle processes on the server -> the winner gets other players bitcoins (Like fantasy sports for real money).
- The difference between masterwarlords and other betting systems is that -> There is no luck (No random or possibility events in the battle engine). That means -> A battle with the same sets of fighters of the same attributes will always generate the same result.

I appreciate your efforts towards creating such game, but I'm not sure I understand the game rules.
Anyway,I have an idea about another "medieval battle" game with crypto betting, but it will be based on luck, not skills or strategy.
Perhaps I would hire you as a developer,if I have enough funds to start my project.

Thanks for the review.

The battle system in the demo is in full 3D mode . I used several software for screen video capture (such as OBS Studio, Microsoft XBox Game video capture) with different configurations and the one on my website is the best quality i managed to achieve ! i will try other alternatives in the future.

I am building a game with a different concept but also pays bitcoin.  Will be in alpha later this year.  Right now I just have a conversation thread at

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/project-development-conversation-about-card-battle-game-with-bitcoin-prizes-5101477

Glad to see games like this coming out.  I like the idea of player to player sales using credits as a medium between blockchain and troop sales.  Doesnt really fit the model of what I am building, but very cool.
I'm following the thread you created. It's good to see that there are developers that are into games and wants to share revenue with their players, these games will make their names as soon as it will be launched.

Website demo video + gameplay animation has been improved.
I watched the demo video again and I think it doesn't made any improvement from the last video (if ever it was replaced by a new one). The video looks lagging, what do you use for building your demo video? You should really make it better.

Thanks for the comment.
The browser version usually takes some time to load (Specially the first time - lots of 3D objects to load) then it gets quicker thanks to the browser cashing feature, the current desktop version as mentioned on the website is a Microsoft Windows build.

I just tried to go to your website (didn't create a account yet), but the demo video looks sluggish (don't take it negatively though).  I also try and click "Play Directly in the Browser", and it loads so slow in my end. Do I need some tweaks to have a good experience? I'm on a Macbook, btw. Anyways, I'm interested to try or have my kids play on it.  Grin

Wow a game that pays with bitcoin. Most of the games that were created will pay with their very own token so this makes it more interesting because you're allowing players to convert credits to bitcoin.

Such topics like this I think belongs to Service Announcements. Just a little review after watching the video on your website, can you please create a better video with your game? I like oldie graphics like your game.
Idea is good and what's interesting on that game is that it has good graphics  and of course it's ingame Bitcoin feature. We all know that we want to earn and  at the same time enjoy the game. I do hope that some developers will be more interested in creating games that has the same feature. But for me as a gamer I prefer to have something like Bitcoin in game feature and with a more faster transactions.

The game's main development purpose is to come out with a cryptocurrency based game that has some fun and animation compared to the other cryptocurrency based games currently available in the market such as CryptoKitties, fishbank etc... Because most of the crypto games currently available failed to combine the crypto and fun factors together efficiently, although i have seems some games such as on enjincoin promising to achieve that purpose they are still far from final release, therefore we can't be sure if they will deliver what they promise.

Seriously, I don't like the graphics it's a bit old and odd for me if we will base on the video on their website. It would be more interesting if they can upgrade a bit of it and add those things that was mentioned by eternalgloom.

Everyone wants to earn but they have to earn too in-game and they need to upgrade base on the taste of the players so revenue will come to their game too.

I like the idea, but the game need some improvements:

1. Design - if you are after medieval effect of the site, you should work a little harder. Now the site looks like 90's homework instead of medieval game made in '19.
2. Game - the game looks sluggish, too slow. The battle from the demo video is very sluggish.

If you clear those and some other aspects, Master Warlords would become a masterpiece.

Seems like the game is still in early alpha, right?

I've watched part of the gameplay video that's on your website, but it's very hard to watch because of the text-to-speech you're using.
The website could do with a bit of an upgrade as well, reminds me of websites from the late 90's.

Do you have any sort of roadmap shared somewhere? I'd be interested in knowing what your future plans are with this game.
Is it even playable in its current state? The graphics are okay-ish, but those battlefields seem kind of dull and empty at the moment.

Master Warlords is an online skill-based army management game where players buy, sell, manage and upgrade units and fight each other for fun and fame or to gain bitcoins or even both.

  • Gain Experience Points or Credits (which is exchangeable for Bitcoins) by fighting computer or human players.
  • Purchase new units using Experience Points or Credits and deploy them on the battlefield to fight other players armies.
  • Purchase new units using Experience Points or Credits and deploy them on the battlefield to fight other players armies.
  • Hands off real-time battle system between the units; all processed on the server.

You can earn Bitcoin by 2 methods:

Without investing anything: you have to fight all the time, gain Experience points, then upgrade your units and offer them on the community market to other players in exchange for credits which is convertable to Bitcoins.

Investing some Bitcoins: challenging other players for credits, if you win you will get their credits, however bear in mind that if your lose you will lose some credits.
