I think Xapo were planning on using Mastercard. Looks like they hadn't gotten around to actually telling them the excellent news.

This was a correction to a Coindesk article about Xapo back in April

"MasterCard has contacted CoinDesk to reiterate that it does not have a relationship with Xapo, and that it had no knowledge of the company’s planned product launch.

The company added: “MasterCard does not have a relationship with Xapo. There is no card program currently available.”

oh right I recall they didn't mention who the card company was, thanks for the clarification!
