Instead of waiting for bitcoin to fix a problem that isnt even a problem for a few years, lets make an alt coin!
It's not a joke. It's making my transactions take longer and cost more, which is frankly irritating.
Every bitcoin transaction makes your transaction take longer and cost more. The blockchain is not perfect. Those clever guys at the foundation are going to figure out a solution real soon. bitcoin had this identical problem long before JR Willet showed up with Mastercoin. Visa does 20,000 transactions per minute - bitcoin does only 7 / second. The blockchain was never going to support heavy action anyway. They will find a nice solution in the next year or two. 
Which Master coin?
Hint: They both were a joke.
