For example: for Dash: if you meet certain requirements (hardware, also need 1000 dash etc) you can set up a Masternode to support their network and they will compensate you for it. And you get a certain ROI (i think right now is at 43%) which will decrease over time, as the number of masterdones and volume of transactions increases.

This might be a lame question but does all blockchain have a master node, and how different are they?

Dash and PIVX  deals with masternodes

These links explain the different types of nodes and the cryptocurrencies involved

Not all cryptocurrencies incorporate the figure of the masternodo and it is something that has "been born" relatively recently. Those that have more time and are anchored to the market are the most recommended, although their return (ROI) is less, as DASH for example.

The choice of the cryptocurrency to invest in a masternode is key and there are many data that analyze before choice. Masternodo.com facilitates this study through robots that monitor the status of each cryptocurrency.

People are getting scammed chasing master nodes for coin that will never reach full adoption. The only coin currently that has potential as a master node is Caradano!! If you haven’t heard of it, it time to do some research.

no, IIRC the masternode concept was created by the developers of DASH. Bitcoin, for example, does not have masternodes.

For your specific questions about masternodes, it might be best to read dash's website: https://www.dash.org/masternodes2/ or to ask your question in the altcoin subforum.

Thanks, no wonder when I googled Masternode Dash keep coming up on the list. Appreciate pointing out.
