The charity I'm involved with, Kaya Children International, was just challenged by one of our donors to raise $10k in Bitcoin donations and they promised to double all of our Bitcoin donations up to $10k. I'm not certain this is the first Bitcoin donation matching program but I haven't found any others. We love the Bitcoin community and have had a very positive experience with Bitcoin.

We do also provide tax receipts for anyone who provides contact information when giving Bitcoin. Can be a significant advantage since you get to write off the full value of your donation.
