I don't think that all crypto wallets supports available crypto chains out of the box e.g Matic and BSC, some wallets won't even allow you to add them like coinomi wallet, what wallets supports these chains out of the box?

I will try to mention some which fully supporting all of them started from

1. Metamask
2. Trustwallet
3. Safe[al

As far as i know almost all of people are using metamask caused by this extension wallet can be switched from one to the another RPC network easily and that makes people will be able from jumping from one chain to the another chain in a few seconds by changing the RPC of wallet. I thought that if you must try to use it or as ethereum users and you may already familiar with it.

Just try that and metamask was also supporting all of network that was compatible with EVM.

Between trust wallet and metamax why do people say that trust wallet is easier to use than metamax.
May I know what is the difference between the two of them?
what is meant by trust wallet is easy even though we also know that metamax is more accessible and supports all networks.

They are all good but I personally prefer Metamask because I can access all the same wallet both from my mobile and the laptop unlike trust wallet, this way whether I am on the go or on my PC I can do everything plus you can easily switch between different networks too and I have never had any issue with it anyways so cant speak on the support.

So far what I use is Trustwallet, because this wallet has advantages, we can enter the coins we want, by adding a toke, the token will automatically enter our wallet, but not all tokens can enter this wallet, but some In general, we can add tokens to this wallet, maybe you can try, to find out the advantages of the wallet, there are no special recommendations in my opinion, but if this is useful, please try it.

I think the difference is not much but it is about how comfortable we use Trust wallet or Metamask. If you have been using Trust wallet for a long time ago and moved to Metamask, maybe you can get unfamiliar things on Metamask that you do not see when you use Trust wallet and vice versa.

Besides comfortable things, you also need to think about the easiness of using the wallet to choose the wallet you want. I prefer to use Trust wallet than Metamask to hold Matic and BSC and I feel it is easier for me to add a new token inside the wallet and browse the Dapps browser.

The 2 platforms that were originally from ERC-20 have now been established without ETH dependence for gas fees, transaction speed and low fees made these 2 platforms skyrocket and soon beat ERC-20 so I recommend to continue buying BNB and MATIC because the market in 2022 will increase at least 10x.

Safepal wallet

And many more..

Actually they not only support polygon and bsc smartchain networks but also othet popular one like avalanche and fantom. Just try it out been using three of these apps or wallets that ive mentioned.

anyone involved in crypto is definitely no stranger to metamask and trust wallets. metamask and trus wallet are able to make it easy for people to add addresses from various networks.
The Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is also essentially the Ethereum network.

People are rarely using coinomi as a wallet anymore. Mostly people are using metamask and this can be easily connected to the various platforms or dapps. coinomi was so good but it's not so good as metamask that was supporting so many blockchains and you can switch from one chain to the another chain easily through adding more RPC network that related to the new blockchain.
That means you must try to explore the new wallets. The wallet like trustwallet and safepal already supported so many blokchain.

There is no doubt that MATIC and BSC is a very fast network and certainly low cost, many experts believe that BNB and MATIC have the opportunity to beat the slow and expensive ERC-20, and it can be seen that more and more projects are shifting to 2 those platforms.

Its upto the wallet providers whether they want to add any coin or not even if they are popular enough and probable reason could be they are already thinking about it before you do but they don't want any security issues so may add it later once they made their final product. As of now you have crypto wallets which is supporting those coins so no need to worry for now.

Trust and Metamask wallet will fit what you want. Maybe other wallets support Matic but if the wallet is still new and lacks development, you do not have to take the risk.

Sooner or later, Coinomi will add Matic, especially if they think that Matic has the potential to be bigger in the future.

I am trying to make a quick search and found this article that shows 8 wallets for Polygon. You can try Trust wallet, Metamask wallet, Exodus wallet, Coin98 wallet, Token Pocket wallet.

Metamask, both extension and mobile app would do the job for you. The mobile app supports BSC, ETH and polygon while the extension could add any network just on a click and any tokens on another single click. You can set password and add as many accounts as you like. The only thing need to be careful is to secure your mnemonic phrase. They would also let you choose your fees with manual input. They also gets connected to dapps seamlessly. Trust wallet is another option but I find it slower than metamask for dapp uses.

I guess that was a wrong move from Coinomi side if they fail to innovate they can lose some of its users because as you said BSC and Polygon are too popular now to be ignored so let them notice their mistakes, anyway just forget Coinomi because there's a lot of a multi coins crypto wallet that has offered the same services like Coinomi.

Trust wallet
TokenPocket
Huobi Wallet
Coin98 Wallet
Bitkeep and many many more.

Different wallets have different purposes as does the technical underlying of the wallet itself. It also depends on the developers' whether they want to add an additional chain support or not. Ideally, they may be trying to add all of those networks that are currently established but will condense the wallet itself.

I think that is the reason why a wallet like Coinomi does not add up those chains you mentioned. As for Metamask, I believe the feature that it has is versatile enough to let the user manually configure which chain they gonna interact.

what wallets supports these chains out of the box?
I can only recommend Trust Wallet, it supports most of the chain so you can straightly use it without a hassle to manually add up a configuration. As maybe you already know, unfortunately, it is only available as a mobile wallet.

3. Safe[al
This should be Safepal. It's available for mobile and hardware wallet.

Last year, Kraken released their findings on the S1 hardware wallet to which they claimed it has security flaws[1]. Safepal immediately replied saying Kraken failed to steal the seed and addressed other issues raised[2]

I personally find their mobile app convenient for small transactions. I also think their Binance Dapp is very useful for people who do not like to submit to the Binance Exchange KYC.

Trust wallet works default with BSC chain because the wallet belongs to binance exchange I don't know about matic, last time I tried selling a matic chain token I ended up importing my private seed into metamask, I think metamask is the best in this area, it supports all crypto projects and chains.
metamask is convenient in this, it supports all popular networks. It is not difficult to use and very simple.I personally have been using it for many years and have never had any problems during all this time, so it can be recommended.
I absolutely agree with you metamask is very convenient in this , I have been using it myself for many years and am relatively satisfied with it , it can definitely be recommended  Wink

Some wallets may not do that and these wallet are only focusing in a single chain support but i think that this time so many wallets already supported various blockchains as the competition between any crypto wallets are really strict these days. Metamask is good wallet as long as you can maintain this securely.

Just use metamask and that's more than enough to cover matic and BSC. I do believe any upcoming wallet will be also supported by metamask as being EVM compliant will become the main thing that must be considered by the new network to get instant demand from the market. This what avalanche did in the past. Supporting EVM and it gets instant users from the ethereum blockchain.

The only problem, they want to add the network or not.

BSC, Matic has the same source code chain from Ethereum just should be easy for the wallet to add only the network since have the same source code and every user who use ETH can use their address to a different chain with the same address. Rather than waiting for a wallet who need to listed the network only by them, you should better to use a wallet with a feature custom configuration RPC network like Metamask.

So, you don't need to wait until the wallet to listed the network official. You just can custom the network by your self.

I would note the universal metamask wallet, where you can add almost any network of the erc_20 format yourself, trust wallet is also suitable, these two wallets are enough to use in the bsc and polygon network in full.

Metamask all the way, you can easily add any chain to the wallet and you will start receiving any type of tokens, trust wallet is also as good but metamask is way better the support is bigger.

I'd imagine trust wallet (if that's still a thing binance have) should accept their own coin.

BSC is just an ethereum fork anyway so you should be able to use ethereum wallets like metamask with a bit of simple network configuration.
