That is the whole point of them.
Someone can cheat their algorithms, but their "owners" are just developers maintaining them
and unless they wrote some evil code that everyone overlooked, they don't have access to users' coins.

I watched his financial program "Keiser Report" on Russian TV channel, he creates the impression of an intelligent person

traditional or mainstream economist vs a more forward-thinking economist, that is the situation we are confronted with. Mind you, both arguments have merits.

Having recently watched an episode of the Keiser Report where Keiser bashed the heck out of Paul Krugman, I concur that Krugman is still an idiot.

Crypto will Outlive Krugman

He has said Bitcoin is dead multiple times, he even called the medium we are using now the internet an archaic system that will never scale. What we should treat him as is a dinosaur of the Keynesian era that should be left in the museum of economic policies.

Far more brilliant minds than Paul Krugman are involved in making the cryptocurrency world a reality he lives a losing battle to development, and just like his prediction on the internet his ideology will die yet again. As new age technologies like blockchain will move the world forward.

unlike us krugman belongs to the group of people that have access to the us dollar printing press so he is pissed of about decentralisation of the financial system because those already rich and established cannot continue to abuse the others to enrich themself anymore that easy
