From this your post I can predict, that you have intention to earn from signature campaign by making as short as possible posts. If yes, this is a wrong attitude. You should focus on quality of your posts, not on number of characters. I have advice -make post only when you have to say something important/interesting/valuable anout topic. In this way quality of your posts will be good enough. If you don't have to say almost anything about topic - just avoid to make post there.

I am having a lot of negative feedbacks here and that is kind of depressing, you are all getting these thread the other way. I did put a title that reads, MAY I JUST ASK. Reading a lot of threads of signature campaigns, you can see them putting a maximum characters, saying that, I do not count my characters and you can also see it yourself. I do love making some advices, helps and comments on something but I am no that used to speak in English that is why I am sticking on the Local Boards, which is also a suggestion on helping me to have a quality post. And what you have said, I have read all of that, I am asking if there are way to count my character, not how to earn easy bitcoins from spamming signature campaigns.
Now I can see that your intention isn't signature spamming, sorry, I was wrong. My advice for you - focus on quality of your posts, not on number of characters. Sometimes constructive post can be made from one or two sentences. Number of characters isn't one of main rules of signature campaigns. Offcourse, if majority of your posts will be short, you may be removed from signature campaign
And there are many tools online which helps to count number of characters. Just Google "count number of characters" and you will see. Then you need to copy text of post and one of these tools will count number of characters in your text.

That is ok, I think the topic is really misleading. I am also doing the same thing, focussing on my post quality, but I dont really care if my post contains two or more sentences, I will be ending my post when I express or tell what I know or what I feel. I did start many topics now because Ibam really a person who loves to comment unto something and talk to something.
The reason why I start these thread is because I am using my android phone and it is not that fast. Everytime I try making new tab, the recent tab closes, and it is really inconbinient and pissingg me off. As I said I am a lazy person and I always want to do something quickly. Thanks for the tips.

As a member of these forum, we don't really need these "character "counter" because here in the forum, we express ideas and we do not count them, maybe as a member of a signature campaign you need to be attentive on how you post, but if you know a lot of things and just express it in a good way, you can have a good and quality post. Though I do not disagree having these character counter though we are doing fine without it.
Agree that the character limit threshold doesn't work out in all the scenarios,but does in most other.Most of the topics in bitcointalk sections are really arguable which doesn't rely on close ended replies.You can always elaborate.There could be exceptions like asking for a name of a particular service or a website,you don't need to write a paragraph then.If you do,it's signature spamming.

I don't check my post length simply because I don't really care about it. I only post what I need to express. Any extra will be consider as spam by your campaign manager and make you lose your campaign position anyway. The only few times that I check my post length is that I wrote a very long post and then I am very interested in how many characters did I type.

Anyway, I do not wish to see a word counter at Bitcointalk. This will just encourage people to add nonsense thing to the end of their post just to hit their target.

I think that I can easily be done with a few lines of JavaScript for Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey though
You got that right.  It's amazing how utterly shitty some of these posts are, from folks in the sig campaigns.  The ones from idiots whose 1st language is not English usually make me cringe--if I even read past the first sentence, and sometimes you can't even say there's a sentence present, because it's all jumbled, poorly-expressed thoughts, linked together with commas, and you can't tell what's the beginning, and what's the end.  LOL

I have a 100-character minimum on my campaign as well, but there's no way I'm going to count words or anything like that.  If you need to do that, your posts probably suck ass anyway.  Drives me nuts.

I've been in these forum, bitcointalk for almost 4 months now, I joined a signature campaign when I am Full Member in Tidex which is really great, after 2 weeks in these Signature Campaign, my posts catches my attention, I am not really a good one, though I think I am not following the 100 characters rule of my signature campaign, is there a way to check the char count of my posts in these forum?
On the forum, no, and there shouldn't be.  If your only concern is how many letters or words you shoved into your post then you're not considering it enough for it to be worthy of posting and you're basically spamming the forum.

Your signature campaign manager might actually accept posts with extra stuff in it though, since Tidex is a pretty spammy campaign.

Edit: Seem like I got the script out. I know it is weird for me to create the script when I say I do not wish to see but ... I just did it for fun . Smiley.

Code:
// ==UserScript==
// @name        Bitcointalk Char Counter
// @namespace   Bitcointalk.org.CharCounter
// @description Count Bitcointalk Char
// @include     https://bitcointalk.org/*
// @version     1
// @grant       none
// ==/UserScript==

function getAllElementsWithAttribute(attribute)
{
  var matchingElements = [];
  var allElements = document.getElementsByTagName('textarea');
  for (var i = 0, n = allElements.length; i < n; i++)
  {
    if (allElements[i].getAttribute(attribute) !== null)
    {
      // Element exists with attribute. Add to array.
      matchingElements.push(allElements[i]);
    }
  }
  return matchingElements;
}

var appendHTML         = document.createElement('div');
appendHTML.innerHTML   = 'Total Characters:\ \ ';

document.getElementById('postmodify').appendChild(appendHTML);

getAllElementsWithAttribute("tabindex")[0].onkeyup = function () {
  document.getElementById('charCount').innerHTML = "Total Characters: " + this.value.length;
};

Put thought and effort into your posts and you won't have to worry about any character requirement. If you need to check your posts with a tool to make sure you will get paid for them then you're doing it wrong.

You can check it on character checker yourself before posting.
That would be a crazy thing to keep doing Smiley You seem to be taking all these seriously.  Why not just post a long paragraphs every time you reply to a thread to make sure you follow rules, maybe just about 3 sentences per reply I think would be enough.

I am a really lazy person, that's why, and if you can put two stuffs on one that will make it easier right? Why go on another site if we have a character counter here right? And are you not curious posting a three or a four liner not knowing how many characters did you posted, or what is your average character count per post?
If you worried about 100 characters rules you can count it manually ,in that case you don't need to visit other sites lol  Grin.  Do not focus on average character as long as you're post help other members here I do not see any problem . BTW 100 character only one liner if I'm not mistaken.
