Do we need a limit on the number of the flag for the user based on their rank and the support on their flags?
There's a limit already:
These limits are in place:
- Per 180 days, you can only give 1 flag of each type to a given user. So you can't give someone multiple written-contract-violation flags in 180 days, for example.
- Globally, per year you can only create 1 flag per activity point you have, but at least 1/year.
I agree the limit is too high. Even if someone would create hundreds or even thousands of valid Flags per year, it's just too much work to check all those Flags to Support or Oppose them. So the number of Flags has to be limited a bit.
I was looking on the trust list flag from LoyceV and I saw " Bitcoin SV" flagging nearly 200 people and no one of them are active.
Let me count: "only" 84
He has
158 Activity, so he shouldn't be able to create more Flags than that in the first year.
That page is 2 days old
The lastest version is
http://loyce.club/trust/flags/234.htmlA good solution can be a limit based on the rank plus bonuses if their flag will be supported like I don't know
I like the bonus part for supported Flags. It discourages creating Flags that remain Inactive.

Any Flag spammer can just create more Newbie accounts, so I don't think this is going to help.
And maybe remove the limit for DT members regardless of their rank.
I think DT varies too much for that.
