You should give more details, like Transaction-id, btc addy, wallet info.

Yes.

Each wallet works differently, so at a minimum to receive useful advice, we'd need to know which wallet you are using:

  • Armory
  • Bitcoin-Qt
  • Electrum
  • MultiBit
  • blockchain.info/wallet
  • something else?

The next thing that would be helpful would be the transaction ID.  This would allow us to determine if the transaction was ever seen on the network, and would allow us to give you advice on how to re-broadcast the transaction (or remove it from your wallet) if necessary.

If they don't make it to the destination in a couple days you'll see them back in your wallet.
Don't panic.
The OP didn't state which wallet, but bitcoind and bitcoin-qt don't work this way.  After waiting a few days, the OP needs to do some searching and possbily get some help.  With the aforementioned softwares, the transaction would have to be removed from the OP's wallet, and then the wallet would need to remain offline until the transaction was forgotten by the network (if the wallet is online and sees the transaction, it will store and rebroadcast it again, spreading it back across the network).  The same effect could be reached by restoring a backup of the wallet, but again, only after all versions of the wallet have been offline long enough for the network to forget.  Moreover, if restoring a previous version of the wallet, expenditures made after that backup would need re-detected using the -rescan command when starting bitcoind or bitcoin-qt with the restored backup wallet.

First lookup your address on blockchain.info if u see the tx with no confirmation, you should wait a bit or rebroadcast. If you see the coins are still in your account then problem is from your wallet.
what can i do about rebroadcast?
try close and open wallet maybe it helps.

yestoday, i sent some coins to my friend, but i didn't notice that my wallet not connect any active connection. then i close my wallet, and restart it, but my friend not receive it. i thought maybe sometimes later it will be ok. but till now, it not arrived.
the transactions says i sent some coins to somebody, but 0 confirm.
how can i get my coins back?

thanks very much

The "technical support" section would probably be more appropriate in this case but...

First off, the coins are not lost, just in limbo for now.

Typically if you are now connected to the internet, and your synced - that is your block source is up to date - then your wallet should periodically rebroadcast your transaction to the network, and then it will get confirmed.

But some more info would be useful to troubleshoot your issue, what wallet software and version are you using?
