I had a Crosshair 5.. it had the 8pin and an extra 4pin...  was curious if the sabertooth had the extra plug.

Its probably that stinkin hot northbridge many of the Gigabyte 900s are known for. I sent my 990x back for a refund and grabbed the Asus Sabertooth.

Waaaay cooler now ! woot

ignore, i was dumb enough not to connect +12v to card. it all working now, all 4 detected

but tere is definetly something wrong here, within 5 secs on low agression of 5, card goes above 100C temperature

use 100% fan.
What brand/gpu?
I've seen some XFX 6950 that report back a wrong temp.

Check thermal paste.

anyone using this board with more than 3 cards ?
connected 4th card to pcie x1 , not detecting it Sad

i know u can short the pins on slot to make it work, but is it safe to do on this board ?
