It's the tactic of creating panicsells before a pump, this way pumpers will have less problem pumping it up and there will be less chance of someone dumping in the pump.

Because it's easy money. We all know they're going to go up in anticipation and there might be a big pump on the day of the 2nd round, maybe even another one at inauguration.


But the beauty about these pumps is that after the pump and dump the value of said coins is often still above BEFORE the pump. Look at Trumpcoin now, it's still trading above 5000 satoshi, even though It's been below 1000 satoshi and around 2000 satoshi for a very long time. It went all the way to over 50000 satoshi and now it's still trading over 5000. Even BLRY, the loser, is still higher than before the election.

Now of course, this is France, not as important as the USA, so we won't see the same % and same value, but it's comparable in a way. If Macron pumps to 200 satoshi (I know this is far from the marketcap Trump ever had, but yeah this is France), then it might dump to 40 satoshi and get some little afterpumps too, which is still more than this, creating value for all the holders. And you don't have to be a bag holder, you can just sell on May 7th when all the new FOMOers join in.

A big difference however is that Trump's win was unexpected, while Macron is pretty much certain to win (far more certain than Hillary was in the polls), which doesn't allow for a nice race between MCRN and LEPEN unless the polls get closer in these two weeks.

And look at Putincoin, this coin didn't even have an election. Sure Putin is more popular than Mr unknown Macron. But if Macron takes office he'll get more and more known over time, so it's not like the coin would die. Even Le pen, she might not become president, but she revived a political movement and will stay influential in French politics.

What is the use of buying junk coins knowing that you will be a bag holder in the end.I have seen coins named after political leaders will be concentrating on the election but i am not sure why people invest in those things because these are script coins where you can have n number of coins with different names .

MCRN and LEPEN did not get pumped as high as I expect them to go. I bought both of these coins at slightly less than 10 satoshi and it is a disappointment that both coins are not above 100 satoshi yet. Hopefully, both Le Pen and Macron can make it to the second round.

How sure are you to make such both statement, She is a nationalist and I don't think Botcoin Volume is that high in France when compared to some other European countries, remember Bitcoin know no boundary with Lepen or not Bitcoin will rise for so many good reasons

Macron is an ex banker he not gonna  use this coin out from nowhere (same for lepen coin)  he gonna stay with EURO for sure !

Putincoin and Trumpcoin were successes, Lepen will be too. It is probably the easiest $$ you'll make.

I find both of the coins a joke. It is just using the election as a scheme to make some quick buck. I don’ t think french elections should have any result in any cryptocurrency news at all, cyrptocurrencies was designed to be decentralized which means any governments can come and go and price of coins should not be affected by it.

4chan is on it too, I think this can get bigger than I thought. 400 satoshi is possible.

As I said, of course it won't see the same rates as Trump coin.  TRUMP went from less than 200 satoshi to over 50000. But It can still go from 10 satoshi to 100 satoshi before the election, and the winner might even go to 500 or something.


See it already went up today and it's not even April. Also interesting to see that MCRN totally caught up with LEPEN and they're similar prices, which creates a nice race

I still think the rise in both MCRN and LEPEN will not be much. Firstly, both coins have too much supply.
Nobody cares about the French election as much as the US election last year. I believe Merkelcoin has more demand than Lepencoin.

So do you guys have any price estimations.

What about Macron then. He'll be first or second in the first round.  If he's first  Le pen will probably be second and he'll beat Le pen. And even if he's not up against Le Pen it, he also beats Fillon in the polls.

Why can't Le Pen win?  She was ahead in the polls until Macron surpassed her. Fillon is quite behind and other candidates don't have a chance unless something special happens.

There were two clinton coins by the way. BLRY and Clinton coin. Clinton coin was pretty much mostly premine, and that's the reason it was worthless. BLRY however went up quite a lot the day before the election and even after the election stayed reasonably high.


But the French elections are probably less important, but a x10 is possible I guess.

If you don't mind buying junk coins, this is a good opportunity to buy them for the French election. However, you should treat it as gambling as the price can drop to 1 satoshi after the election. The coin with the loser name will be worthless as shown by Clinton coin.

We all remember TRUMP, but we can't expect a country like France to have the same success as a coin like TRUMP.

But surely they might go up a few magnitudes.  And who will win, Emmanuel Macron or Marie Le Pen?
