thanks for the updates.

Is or was DGC also a scam or the deveolper?

greetings

DGC itself was and is not a scam.

Just another altcoin.

The dev Baritus started out fine but turned to the dark side.

He burned the DGC community for about $35K.

They seem to have gotten their act together and have somewhat recovered.

mcxNOW was RealSolid's aka Coinhunter's third highly successful scam.

He cleaned up well enough on mcxNOW we may never hear from him again.

Anyone who lost money on mcxNOW deserved to lose that money.

People were warned Ad Nauseam about that scam and his previous dealings.

That being said, hats off to him.

That shit was brilliant as he never underestimated the stupidity of greedy people.

agreed
and to be fair to you, you warned people until you were blue in the face about him and mxcnow

I was calling out Realsolid aka Coinhunter back in mid to late 2011 when he launched his first scam Solidcoin and subsequent con, SC2.

Another Realsolid follow on scam after Solidcoin was when he solicited more than 300 BTC in order to complete "Micro-Cash" development then promptly disappeared for three months.

He came back and claimed it was stolen by someone who had access to his personal machine.

Incidentally and by "sheer coincidence" Baritus of DGC would claim the exact same thing two years later.

There was no reason anyone lost money in mcxNOW except for blatant stupidity.

Myself, many long time members and long time Global Mods warned numerous times.

I estimate Realsolid's take on mcxNOW was over $5M USD based on BTC prices of the time.

I don't think we will be seeing him again here on this forum running any more scams but I do think he is a long time VIP member here.

I think he was not  a 100% scam ;-) maybe a 50-90%.
the trading on his exchange was a good addition to bter and cryptsy at that time.
But i didn't trust him, because i read out his arrogance in his writings.
So i always limited my exposure to that exchange and withdrawed after my trading.

But i always also mistrust mt.gox for the same reason.
It is always the same most people have just too much trust in authorites like sheeps.
