Superb update for ripple supporters and xrp holders, i am sure this will send good vibes across ripple community and longterm supporters will feel a bit relieved to know this as this is a completely new and unique partnership or affiliation that involves xrp and it will expand xrp use cases and hence the revenue it generates with growth in ots ecosystem, more demand for xrp and hence increase in value.

I think that a lot of high traffic websites are implementing Coil in their websites as there is no disadvantage with it. It's their way of earning extra amounts of cash passively from their content viewers and this is a big advantage of websites with high traffic even if the rates of Coil is only .36$ per hour on each client the micropayments they will receive will be big if they have millions of viewers. However this impact might be not that big considering that not all views can be monetized since only Coil Members who are viewing your content can be monetize so this might just be a fraction of your total viewers.

Global media powerhouse Condé Nast, which attracts more than 144 million readers and 435 million monthly visitors, is testing Ripple-backed Coil in an effort to monetize its web content.

A tech enthusiast, Eric Dadoun, called out Condé Nast’s tech publication Wired for enabling the online payments platform Coil. It allows users to stream real-time crypto micropayments to writers, artists and online content creators by using Ripple’s native cryptocurrency XRP, as well as other digital assets.
