Judging by the review here https://revain.org/blockchain-games/megacryptopolis, it seems that this game is still relevant. Some even consider megacryptopolis one of the best. I don't know if this is true or if this game can become more popular than cryptokitties. Perhaps it will be able to occupy its niche in the industry. Let's see how events will develop.

I tried to build something on my land and I sent a number of eth but after waiting 3 hours of eth transactions I was still pending, was there an error or how could I not understand it?

So, conclusion..is it scam or not ? how to buy the token ?

This part has been fixed. They are updating and have a new whitepaper. I am invested in this game. Its the only eth game I have got more than 1 Eth return so far. I have invested a few hundred dollars into this. Do your own research. Im not promoting this. I would like to buy more land b4 prices go up.

If you check the website from my signature You will see that the game will start on September 14, so yes it is still in development to reach it's full gameplay, but you may start purchasing lands even now.  It works without problems so far and probably that's why there are no many posts in this thread. This will probably change once the game starts.

this project has a simple concept, but it can be very fun if it has a lot of communities, so blockchain can develop very well, so the point is, all the development of blockchain games, it depends on the many enthusiasts about the game itself

wow, I found a game that built a fancy and unique city in the game, this I'm sure is fun, good luck for your project.

My question, in the website it says to have some ethereum balance in your wallet while picking a plot, does this mean their is going to be some deduction or its just to have a balance in your wallet? between, nice project, playing some sort of game and earning with it.   

I find it very interesting - because this has never been done before.. and it will be the biggest earning blockchain game of it's time..

MegaCryptoPolis — a breakthrough, online multiplayer strategy game that allows players from all over the world to collectively build a unique mega city like never before. Players can acquire blocks of land to construct their own buildings and eventually upgrade them to gain influence points. Every block of land is an ERC-721 token that is stored inside the Ethereum blockchain.

Buildings generate influence points depending on what is built in the neighborhood. For example, a residential building near a commercial zone produces much more points that one build near to the factory. In its core, it looks like a massively multiplayer Go game without limits.

Initially, all blocks of land are considered spare and everybody has the ability to purchase them. When someone purchases a spare land block, smart contract raises the price of the surrounding 24 blocks and distribute part of purchase price amongst block owners that surround the 5x5 field. Players may even acquire whole districts for the share of profit. Districts are basically the older and larger siblings of blocks that feature on the game map. District owner has the right to set the price of blocks in his region and receives part of profit collected from land block sales.

MegaCryptoPolis is planned to be launched in Summer 2018. The Preorder Stage commencing 18th May will allow grabbing block lands early on the “first came first take” basis.

 
There is also a Bounty Campaign that is the only way to get land blocks on an exclusive “Bounty Island”. Blocks will be distributed randomly amongst all registered users prior to the game start.
