Yea I saw this (ad on youtube) and am interested in this but I'm curious besides buying and then reselling the land or owning a district is there other ways to make money? Like can you build stuff on your land and then sell it or something like that? That would be really cool Smiley

I bought a few blocks of land for cheep,  .08  .05   eth or so. The moor blocks that are bought up around you the higher the cost, but the cost is distributed to people who allready own 7x7 blocks around the one your purchase. So if your the last guy to buy a block u will pay ALLLOTT moor than the first. You can biuld structures and they work off the neighboring structures. I got payed for some blocks being bought next to me already. have gotten 2

Someone had just bought a spare block of land near your one.
You had received a 0.0069223984375 ETH transfer to your wallet: 0x778f7434956b899303708fa3c5fad85bf9d93e06

so if you get in on a district the same day it opens then u can get cheep blocks and then break even or better by the time all the blocks around you are sold.

Heres the whitebook link with all the details and rules. Just like any investment only invest what u can afford to loose. https://www.megacryptopolis.com/

Ah ok cool thanks for the detailed explanation this concept seems really cool. What other projects have done something similar to this before I want to see how those played out?

It suppose to be like what you say. A crypto Sim City game. Nice consept but not so new.
We seen a lot of those and 99% of them was a total nothing. Or should i say it better, scam-thing! Grin
Can i say 99.9% of them do failed of and do just still remain those kind of plan projects to remain on ones dreams?  Wink

It would really be nice to have these kind of plan projections but these arent really realistic at all and would be better if it would just still remain on concept forever.Basing on how government reacts on crypto building up one wont really be possible.

For sure, this ain't a security... Roll Eyes If you want to talk about it, Investor-based games is your section to move it.

Btw the admin/team of this have a Bounty topic, which imho should be more relevant to BTC.
Probably to have an official topic and why not an ordinary sig campaign, will be better. Seems though that doen't consern them much.

Anyone looked into https://www.megacryptopolis.com/ yet? i just started, looks like a pretty cool concept. Sim city meets land investments using Ethereum. Iv picked up 5 lots of land so far ranging from .05 to most expensive iv bought was .19 eth. I see tiles going for 2.0 now. As tiles get bought up the moor expensive the cost.  Ill just link the gamebook on it. Theres some crazy math involved on how to make monies. Id like to buy a whole sector/zone and be the governor moor or less but there being auctioned off at 10-20 eth. You get to collect "taxs" on all the land owners inside your sector. So many different ways to make monies.
