just in case anyone thinks this has been fixed, the theft of these coins has not been resolved and Megacrypton do not respond to anything

I'm curious why do you write this stuff in my thread? Create your own if you have some issues with megacrypton scam

I'm glad there is a thread for Megacrypton here, the site is not resolving our issues have tried several times to ask them about my withdrawals but they are just ignoring my tickets,I think it's not only me but everybody are being ignored, this exchange will close shop because nobody is going to trade here anymore.

You're right, they never answer to emails, ticket supports, etc

As I stated before, I can't withdraw because of same error message

"Not enough funds on hot wallet"

And there are many people as I see in shoutbox have same issue.

Thanks for confirming this.

@megacrypton - Please stop sending me PM's. It is not going to help your cause.

I have now received 2 separate PM's from megacrypton asking for me to remove my neg rating. One PM when this thread was created, and another earlier today.

In the latest PM, he has stated that the OP, Crypto8man, has received a full refund of his BTC. Can you confirm this, OP?

Seeing the number of people complaining about that site lately, I am not sure removing the rating in its entirety is the best thing for the community anyway. It may need a revision, as it would appear that there are other users that have BTC locked up at their site.

Will be keeping an eye on this.

Still no bitcoin or response to any support emails from this exchange - they have stolen many many bitcoin and just aren't responding to any messages.

It's only a matter of time before they close their site, they are not making money from trading at all, because the volume is very low compare to other exchanges, and because of this they resort to scamming all their remaining client,I lost a small amount of altcoin there, but have promised myself that I will never trade in an exchange which is not a year old.

I know of at least 70BTC that have been taken - not all are mine, some from other accounts of people I know who trade.

This is pure criminal behaviour and no emails are being responded to.

Scammers are not banned from the forum. They are tagged as scammers and that is it.

People need to use the trust rating system to work out who is reliable to trade with, and who isn't. In other words, do your due diligence on those you want to trade with.

In the case of megacrypton, their rep (or whoever he is) has been tagged. There is nothing further we can do.

Upset, so actually he can continue to promote his scam website here

Unfortunately, yes, he can. Scams are not moderated. It is down to individuals to due their due diligence on a person or company before they trade. Sorry, not the answer you wanted - but it is how it is, I don't make the rules.

I would advise anyone and everyone from trading at live.megacrypton.com until this has been resolved. Actually, I would advise against trading there altogether. There are a lot more trustworthy exchanges out there to choose from.

Is there a certain time he needs to return Btcs back? So if he not you can ban him out ouf this forum.

To add on to that point, you should also probably stay away from LEOcoin.  It's an obvious scam coin.

Plus the founder, Gavin Anderrson, also was advertising a "get quick rich" scheme of binary options/trading, which was really annoying.  Just overall a bad coin, I'd stay away.

Can you explain please why is it scam coin? I was interested, cause looks like it has interesting Pos. I just have some altcoins besides of main - Bitcoin

Crypto8man, please post here when you have received your BTC from megacrypton so this scam accusation can be closed, and I can remove the neg rating.

megacrypton has PM'd me to advise of a massive SQL+DDoS attack on their site which resulted in this mess. Apparently it has all been fixed. I do not personally have the time at this specific moment to confirm this all myself, and will look into it tonight. But if you can confirm that you received your BTC, I can at least remove the rating.

Thanks

What happened:

I saw there is a good rate of Leo coin on the website "megacrypton.com", I deposited 2 times: 0.16 and 0.082 Btc and bought 260 Leocoins.

However I got the following message trying to withdraw:

"Sorry we do not have enough funds in our hot wallet"

I had been trying for few days, wrote to chat, sent tickets but they never answered.

And after a few days they just changed my Leo balance to zero. And still no answer to email neither to tickets
