Looks like you've actually earned most of your merit and simply didn't get them for free through the merit airdrop. Congratulations, users like you are a huge slap to the face to those people who always complain "OnLy HiGh RaNk cAn ReCeiVe MeRiTs".

Best of luck to the road to legendary, kabayan.

Proud to see another "kababayan" ranking up and you really deserved it man. The threads that you created are really helpful, not just in our local board, but in the community as well. People here are very appreciative to members who contributed so I wouldn't be surprised to see you reaching Legendary one day.

Congratulations to the rank of Hero Member, I learned a lot about the history of the newbie to legendary and I quote two main keys to their achievements, consistency and optimism. They passed it in different difficulty levels to reach the main goal point, I was so motivated by the discussion of this thread and you deserve to occupy a higher position that is Legendary.
If I want then I can. These motivational words are the basis on which we must have the intention, willingness, effort, and consistency to get something that we have to achieve be it on target or naturally.

If other people can get it, why cant you. If you want to become a legendary after the merit era, then you have to be a member of the community that is able to post quality things and of course you have to grow over time and leave old habits little by little until you feel comfortable with your quality posts.

OP, congratulations you are a newbie of the old era who managed to reach the rank of hero and now Legendary is waiting for you ahead. Really, you are a good contributor in your local board on user recognition.

Congrats Maus0728. Keep it up and you will achieve the Legendary rank in no time!

What caught my attention the most in your inspirational topic is this:
After the 10th anniversary art contest, I've tried my best to contribute for the betterment of the forum by replying and creating threads that i think can be very useful for the community and other members.
It shows how stirring the first received merits can be. It works like an incentive for members to improve themselves and contribute positively to the community.

Congratulations Maus0728 for Achieving Hero Member Rank.
Many struggles that you do to be able to reach this Rank Hero Member.

I also experienced progress when I entered the 10th anniversary Bitcointalk contest and I became a participant with 2 works of art that I made.

1. The Journey into The Future
2. "MADURA" Antique Carving

I got a lot of merit for the Madura Carving art that I made. It was beyond my expectations. Many members gave me Merit and they really appreciated it.

The artwork took me to Rank Hero Member very quickly and I was also one of the winners who got the 2019 Art Contest Special Badge and I am very proud.

Since joining the art contest I have tried to be a good member and have always been active in the forum until now.

I hope you will also reach Legendary rank someday. Congratulations on your new ranking.

Based on your merit history, it looks like you have to wait 7 months after you register an account to get the first service from themoungmillionaire. Really something unpleasant like that. But now you are among users who have succeeded in achieving hero ranking after the merit system exists. So once again congratulations, mate.

I hope you like this, take a look. Just a little nostalgia. Cheesy
Merit all the time Maus0728.

Maintain your exposure into the community by making substantial post because it will somehow increase your reputation. Stay disciplined at all cost.

You have an epic journey that I will really like to emulate. Sure, its good to emulate people that have results because they have proven strategies.

Let me add to the point quoted above. Well, it should not always be based on merit reward that we make substantial threads and comments, it should really come from a desire to contribute to the growth of the community and to learn.

This is because sometimes some helpful comments and threads won't generate merits. So that you shouldn't be disappointed when this occur.

To me, I have made up my mind to contribute in a qualitative ways to the growth of the community- my efforts may generate merits or it may not but I'll keep on doing it.

Yes, that's it.

Your investments to go back here, learn, and contribute are now paying off. I just saw you back then the same rank as mine, and then a few months later I just saw you as a Sr. Member I wasn't so shocked since I came across some of your threads which really deserves merits. What really surprised me was your capability to do those stuff regardless of your current level. You seemed very confident to contribute since you knew really what you are doing and that's really inspiring. And right now with your latest S2F model translation/discussion in our local board, it makes me feel out of reach but it pushed me on the other end to work myself up, and invest in self-learning as well.

You just proved this saying, man "He who climbs the ladder must begin at the bottom". It's funny that I saw this line from some video out there and here you are right now sharing your fruitful journey. Anyway, don't ever forget to keep on what you are doing here; contributing to the forum even though you've achieved your desired rank already. And lastly have fun while staying here, and don't ever let the bad feeling of not getting merited spoil your mood (simple message I get from reputable member here and I wanna share it to you as well). Congratulations, and thank you for your contributions, cheers!!!

Well, I am shocked after knowing through this thread of your accomplishment about what happened to @theyoungmillionaire. He/she was very active before in our local before. A great user becomes evil look through the negative feedback under the user's profile.

Indeed, that is an impressive achievement you have done. Since it is not hard for you to achieve the Hero rank, I rest assure that the Legendary rank will be easy for you for the next goal. Well, congratulation on that and continue of what you have achieved, --all efforts and sacrifices that you have will have a good result, and you really deserve it. Congratulations bro!

Congrats on your achievement! The fact that it only took you some months to achieve Hero Member is such a great accomplishment. I've seen your works and your threads, so there's no doubt that you are truly deserving of that rank because of your great contributions to the forum, especially our local board. Your journey here in the forum can inspire newbies that you only need to work hard if you want to achieve your goal. Actually, you also inspired me to contribute more and do my best to reach that rank as well, although it may take some time.

Congratulations again OP! You've finally reached your goal and continue to contribute to our local board.

I have seen a number of ranking up topics but yours is among the most inspirational.
And one of the most detailed, it covers almost all the stages op has gone through on the forum, it was absorbing reading it, congratulations op for the effort you have put in on the forum(and even in making this thread)that's why you have achieved this rank. To think that today I was saying to myself that it's been long we saw rank up threads(i thought rank ups slowed down a bit or users stopped making threads on it)now this, congratulations!
Congrats, can you please let me know where do we get this summary?
You can get that information on yourself or on any other user on the forum in https://bpip.org

Congratz on your achievement, mate. You have proven you deserved it. You needed 4 months to ranked up from full member to senior member and another 3 months to achieved hero rank. That's really impressive. I have seen a number of ranking up topics but yours is among the most inspirational. Unfortunately I don't have a local board, if I did, I would definitely translate your topic to motivate myself and my fellows.

Greetings Everyone,

During the 30th of April 2020, I managed to get promoted in Hero Member Rank and I felt one of the most joyful moments during my stay here in bitcointalk forum. Even before the first time of signing up in this forum, I dreamed to become at least one of the Hero Member Rank in this community, and now I finally achieved it, I want to share with you guys my struggles, joyous moments and realizations which can serve as an inspirations and guidelines for aspiring members like me.

My bitcointalk timeline of ranking up:

November 07, 2017 - Date when I registered in the forum.

To be honest most of the merit I have received are from the 10th anniversary art contest. I joined this contest mainly because I am inclined in doing traditional and digital portrait, it made me feel so happy when I learned that there is an ongoing art contest in bitcoin because I really do not expect that it will happen in a forum full of technicalities about bitcoin and blockchain. But then I was surprised because I received a lot of merits when I posted 3 of my artworks.

10th anniversary art contest ENTRY 1 | Satoshi Portrait
10th anniversary art contest ENTRY 2 | Bitcoin Themed Starry Night
10th anniversary art contest ENTRY 3 | Faketoshi

These 3 artworks made me become Official Full Member. Special thanks to @iasenko for suggesting a good Title for my Entry No.3 and sending one 3 last merit in order for me rank up. Very much appreciated and thank you so much once again for people who appreciates my artwork.

November 08, 2019 - When I reached Full Member Rank

After the 10th anniversary art contest, I've tried my best to contribute for the betterment of the forum by replying and creating threads that i think can be very useful for the community and other members. This is also the time I became more active again bitcointalk and in our local section due to the merit spree in art contest, somehow those merits gives me hope that I can be more and contribute more for myself and for people.

February 2, 2020 - Sr. Member Rank Promotion

After being promoted to Sr. Member, I think I somehow help @DireWolfM14 in dealing with the scam accusation to @theyoungmillionaire which gives me a head start again in gaining merit in which I didn't expect in the first place. I am just so disappointed that time when @theyoungmillionaire had defaulted his loan from @DireWolfM14 because TYM became my mentor and I treat him like a brother or "kuya" during my stay here in this community. He also happens to get a loan from me in which I did not hesitate to give because I wanted to help him in his Cryptocurrency product business. Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything from him again until now.

Here is the post regarding the Scam Accusation:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54061366
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54104002

After the incident, I managed to sacrifice my leisure time during the lockdown caused by COVID-19. I spent most of my time in studying our past lesson in Discrete Mathematics and watching a lot of videos regarding the basic of blockhain. Thus, it gives me an idea to share all the knowledge I've got during the study course. Here are the posts that I am very proud of.

[RESOURCES] Free bitcoin/blockchain/finance eBook.
Blockchain Basic: Number System | Random Number | Hash Function
Blockchain Basic: Understanding Modulo Operation

I'll try my best to create more technical and in-depth guide about crypto. I really enjoy sharing these kinds of knowledge in this community.

I also want to mention one of my proudest work in our local section Pilipinas.

[INDEX] Informative threads in our local section

Of course, creating my personal Service in Service section also helps me to market my drafting and art skills in this community. Special thanks to @LoyceV for always appreciating these services.

[SERVICE]Charcoal and Graphite Portrait Drawings! | BTC Accepted
[SERVICE] Digital Portrait Drawings! | BTC|ETH|XRP|LTC|BCH Accepted
I am so happy that there is now one customer in my Digital Portrait Services. Thank youu so much.

These topics that I have created lead me to officially promoted in Hero Member Rank.

April 30, 2020 - Hero Member Rank finally achieved - Thanks to @cabalism13 for being an effective and great merit source in our local section.

Anyhow, here are the realization and lessons that I have learned during this long but very rewarding journey.

  • This journey is all about knowledge. I am a true believer that having enough knowledge in this industry is the most essential thing to consider if you want to become one of the most important and respected forum member in this community. I noticed that when you have knowledge, you have the capacity to help newer/ other members in their struggles. Merits will come to you unexpectedly.

I formed a habit during lockdown and I have created a schedule for learning more about cryptocurrency and I think you can do it too. I manage to at least learn 1 topic everyday by reading and watching some of my favorite resources I have found on the internet.  I became a fan of PlanB, Andreas Antonopolous and James Lopp. I chose to invest my time in learning, reading and writing about crypto rather than spending my time on some things that will surely not benefit me.

  • Always try to review Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ and [GUIDE] Bitcointalk forum etiquette. In this, you will be familiarizing yourself in the do's and dont's of the forum. Just so to avoid making some mistakes

  • Try to bookmark threads as much as possible whenever you see an Index thread/ thread that contains important information in this community. It will surely benefit you in many cases especially when there is someone asking for a statistical data or any guides.

  • Maintain your exposure into the community by making substantial post because it will somehow increase your reputation. Stay disciplined at all cost.

Lastly, I want to thank people who are very supportive in my journey. It is impossible for me rank up if there is no help and appreciation coming from fellow bitcointalk members. Thank you
