Which one do you prefer in terms of potential during the next bullrun?
Pepe has already shown growth this past month. Its investors has already reaped its rewards and now the only question is whether will it continue until the next months? I think Shiba Inu still has the potential to show growth but for now I see interest leaning more towards Pepe especially after its rise.

Both are meme coins wherein they don't have any fundamentals. They both are community driven and earlier this year Pepe generated good returns than Shiba Inu. I don't have any personal preferences but as a investor I would buy both and wait for the next bull run. Both have the ability to generate good returns on investment.

Indeed MemeCoins ain't worth relying one particular source as an investor, so being on a safer side you'd have to diversify just as the Op has been optioned, considering the both Coins historical volatilities, Investor might be tempted to pick a preference but it doesn't seem wise because the volatility of them can be revolve and disorganizes Investors goal.

1. **Shiba Inu**: Shiba Inu is a breed of hunting dog from Japan. They are known for their spirited personality, small size, and distinctive fox-like appearance, with upright ears and a curled tail. They're also famous for their expressive faces and have gained popularity as pets globally.

2. **Pepe the Frog**: Pepe the Frog is a cartoon character created by artist Matt Furie. Initially a benign character, Pepe became widely used in internet memes. Unfortunately, some iterations of Pepe were co-opted by certain online communities for offensive or hateful purposes, leading to controversy and efforts to reclaim the character for positive uses.

Which one do you prefer in terms of potential during the next bullrun?

NONE OF THEM!!!

My reason is this

Look at its FDV. It doesn't make sense if these meme tokens will give us a lot of profit. Pepe can still growth another 100% to have same marketcap as shiba inu. The question is now when?
I would rather than pick low marketcap token in the market to invest caused by those meme tokens have very big FDV this time. Just try to be a retional person. Investing in another meme token like MEW is much more profitable rather than this shit.

I just tell you the truth about this. Shiba inu has more utilities compared to the pepe but it lacks of users. Shiba developers keep issue the new tokens and new ticker. They like printing money.

Well I will choose Shibu Inu and not Pepe. It is just because of the marketp for Shib is $14.6 Billion. And it is still big but it is only $6.4 Billion.
It is a big risky investment for us with the meme tokens. It is why I do not like to say for people to invest in them. I do think they is the best of all of the meme coins to hodl.

Many say that holding meme coins can prove profitable. I think that in the future Shiba Inu has the most potential during this upcoming bull, their momentum is also strong, however for memes it also really depends on market movements, especially BTC, if BTC rises, the dominance of meme coins will also rise, although it varies if we pay attention to wear.

In the memecoins ranking, Shiba Inu, is higher than pepe, also shiba is more popular than pepe, if you're judging by that, Shiba Inu, will carry the day, but it goes beyond that, because we don't know the one that'll be more bullish in this season, but I'll still put my money on shib. Although in this alt season, a new meme can emerge and be the toast of memecoins for the bull run, I can't rule out any possibilities. My advice will still be to invest the amount that you can afford to loose, in memecoins and any new projects.

Shiba Inu is still the best memecoin to choose from the market when you have your funds to invest, because it has performed very well to attract more investors in the community some years ago which investors are still investing in Shiba Inu, and they believe that it will going to increase higher in the future to increase their investors income.  Through the population of Shiba Inu investors, you can discover that Shiba Inu is more popular than PEPE in the market which Shiba Inu will be more profitable than  PEP,  because PEPE token is still new in the eyes of the investors which is a risk to ignore Shiba Inu token to invest in PEPE token. Investing what you can afford to lose on any memecoins, is the right decision that can make investors to stay long in the altcoins investment.

Just like what you said, both are memecoin and investing in both is a good idea  and also very risky because they are  memecoin and  we don't know what will happen next in the market though there current behavior maybe encouraging but that doesn't mean it is certain that it will do well however, while investing make sure to use what you can afford to let go cause the investment is not sure I mean certain.

Neither.  Both are pointless projects and depend on other people's greed to keep the price stable or to go up.  I don't know why people are so comfortable putting theor money into useless coins or tokens like these.  Real question.  Why wouldn't you just invest into bitcoin or an altcoin project that has a viable future to exist?  What's the point.

Obviously like most others saying neither is the best case. However, this type of "battle" between the meme projects make me laugh because it is clear that we are not going to get anything reasonable out of this at all. People who think that one of these is good, are people who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, we are not going to end up with something that will get bigger with either of these.

So look at the market, look at what is being written and that seems like the most important part, because you are seeing people who are not understanding why these two are bad, and they are the future losers, they will lose their money and going to cry about it later and you can see that beforehand, it's very important.

My portfolio no longer holds too much of it, but I still like shib because it brought me a lot of profit in the previous bull cycle. Although for me, I always consider these things to be more risky than investment opportunities, because from the beginning I always determine that the amount of money invested in them will be lost with risk.

Memecoin always has many potential risks and until it gains a large position in the space, there will be a process of adjustment and strong fluctuations, so no matter which one you choose, it must be determined by your targets can be expected with them because the state they are in is on a completely different scale compared to the stage of their emergence.
If you like SHIB and you do well because of it, then why won't you continue what you are doing? SHIB might still be reliable because it's already old. SHIB and PEPE are meme coins but at the end of the day, they are still a kind of investment and even Bitcoin, gold, real estate and the likes, do also has their own set of risks. We can't lose simply because of risk but its intensity E.g. high or low, can be a good indication on how our assets can perform and our final action is still the one that can make us lose or earn. Usually for a meme coin, what we see is what we can get but different scenarios are also possible, same with the standard cryptos.

Both bullshit and useless shitcoin since it offers no real utility aside from ponzi feature to fool investors that a meme coin token will be useful in the future,

But removing the fact that this is a garbage token, Popularity wise then Shib will have a slight advantage since its next to Doge when it comes to the strength of blind follower while Pepe is just the product of the recent meme coin hype after Shib success on following Doge footprint.

Of course you have to be very careful when choosing memecoins because the risks are very big. Maybe I would prefer Shiba Inu because I think in terms of popularity Shiba Inu is more popular, the community is also growing stronger. Additionally, the advancement of Shibarium, a layer-2 scaling solution designed specifically for Shiba Inu, is also a critical factor to consider. This development aims to improve the scalability and efficiency of SHIB transactions, which can further increase market adoption and value. Negative net flows on exchanges, progress in network development and aggressive token burns are all converging to potentially set the stage for a significant price increase.
Here I am agreed about this due to popularity and few other factors I also love to jump into Shiba Inu but as I have huge lost now I am mostly writing against them and want members be careful about this all because things like these can ruin your investment and life as well as I have problems in my life due to Shiba Inu even many are taking good profit as well from this, but now things are turning into bad way, and we need to be careful about this all.
Pepe is just having good sound around here but as mentioned it's also meme coin and this is also purpose of having investment from others for their own so if someone want to invest he wants to be careful and just invest which you can afford to lost or invest.

Neither, not only are both meme coins, they have also reached most of their potential already, so there is not much room to grow for those coins, so if you are going to invest in them you might as well just invest in bitcoin or ethereum.

However if what you are looking for is to obtain great profits then you need to look for meme coins that have not pumped yet, but if you do this, you need to accept the very real possibility that you may lose all the money you risk by investing in those coins.
If you look at the price movement, PEPE is more dominant and is liked by many whales because we see that PEPE can penetrate the new ATH which has not touched ATH again for too long. Meanwhile, Shiba doesn't seem to be of much interest because the price is still far below the ATH and there are no interesting developments from Shiba.

Memecoins sure are risk but the risk also holds potential for higher reward. We might not like memecoin as they provide nothing to the crypto ecosystem and has no utility. They are for fun and in some instance can be categorized as ponzi where the price increases till there are people willing to buy more. That again is same for almost every cryptos as only a few of them are used for utility and all of them are speculative in nature. Speculation of future demand is what pushes the price of crypto up and the same thing is true for meme coins. So, they are just another but more interesting speculative coin.

The demand for meme coins is very low in the market but among some meme coins the value of Shiba Inu is increasing that's why I prefer Shiba Inu over Pepe Coin. In addition cryptos like Shiba Inu can exit this top. As the price of meme coin rises traders are looking for the next crypto with similar potential. If the crypto market goes higher the price of this coin may reach higher.

I guess shiba inu since they have shibarium means there's at least fundamental that makes up the value.

but i'm more inclined into investing in newer meme coins though sniping meme coin in solana seems a lot more fun and also doesn't necessarily need that much money to just get started on consider it like trying your luck.
with bigger meme coin i just don't really interested with the idea of spending all my whole life saving into meme coin investment just to get that small margin of profit.
but you should try to judge these meme coin based on recent gains in the historical price chart maybe you'll find something.

but i'm pretty sure that pepe coin right now is already over bought and might have correction, but its just my 2 cent so take it with grain of salt.

Since both of them are memecoins, I will prefer to embrace Shiba Inu, because it has displayed so many times to helped their investors to achieved a huge amount of income in the last bullish which is the reason I will invest in Shiba Inu and hold for next bullish season before I can release them for sale. if you hold Shiba Inu in a short period of time, it will make your income little but if you hold it for a long period of time before you can trade, it will help you to always invest what you can afford to lose in Shiba Inu whenever the bearish season start.  Well, pep is a memecoin that newly started displaying some potential improvement to gather more investors and to attract other investors to invest in pepe, but it will not reign like Shiba Inu investors have used to over some years and their team are still capable to make the Shiba Inu to display more in the next bullish season.

I prefer and there are two reasons for that. The first reason is that I don't like meme coins a lot and I would rather make investments in other more trusted cryptocurrencies that would at least give me some returns whether it's big or small and they have lower risks as well. The second reason is that I believe that the same meme coins won't be trending all the time and once they get some hype and lose the hype, they won't have the same level of hype again.

This is why, one shouldn't expect that the same old meme coins will give the same level of returns to their investors again, and they should research and find new meme coins that might have some potential to give them good returns for their investments if they are ready to take the risk.

I don't really sure but i'm more of a pepe guy anyway this coin is awesome with all the community that revolves around it really supportive toward the meme coin itself.
despite the fact that shiba inu trying to pump that price up with whatever new feature they are introducing and could possibly make the coin be able to sustain the price for long term but I think if we are talking about meme coin
all those things become irrelevant, if people want technology they could just settle with the coin sponsored by big VCs that are routinely introducing new technology, higher TPS or whatever gimmick there is but with meme coin
the only thing that is important is how awesome the community and how volatile the coin is.
when reaching billions of market cap these meme coin will definitely have reduced volatility, but still have bigger opportunity of pumping the price up compared to other altcoins
that are just having most of allocation going to the investors, the so called VC coin where the smaller guy become the exit liquidity.

Which one do you prefer in terms of potential during the next bullrun?

Both Shiba Inu and PEPE coin are technically similar. Both being token on Ethereum ecosystem and meme coin with limited supply. Limited supply practically means the number of circulating coin keeps decreasing and the total supply of PEPE is a bit less than Shiba Inu.
The long term price actually depends on the hype they could maintain, Shiba Inu team has been trying several different things and I've heard they are trying some web3 stuff as well, if those things gets relative success, Shiba Inu would have another large rally while I haven't heard much plans with PEPE.
That's right, the more people who want to use Pepe and Shiba, the more difficult it will be to get these coins because we know that both have a limited supply. Even though there are no products that can be useful for many people, the price is quite expensive and will continue to rise. because basically Pepe and Shib were created to have fun. So we have to be careful when holding these two coins.

I prefer Shiba inu instead choosing Pepe, the significant rise last 2021-2022 provided a lot of profit to most traders around the world.
Until now many holders really hope and pray that in the next 4-5 years there's a fruits of their labor. Out of regrets I sold my few quantity of Shiba during the fruitful days that this tokens shines upon and became famous at once.
My plans to buy another holdings of it, possibly 500k Shiba Inu and wait until further maturity is reached. Long term investment shouldn't be ignored because soon you'll be surprised.

How about cats? the literal meme coins that are based on cats with their icons? LOL. You should have included them but if it's with shiba inu or pepe, I prefer shiba inu.
No other choice then so that's what I think will be what I'll choose and looking at the current market, pepe did some gains lately and whoever has it probably are smiling just looking at it but won't be selling anytime soon as all of us are waiting for a better gain. To me, not with pepe or shiba inu for profits as I don't hold these memes.

Shib is ranked higher than PEPE making it more popular. but both are actually added in different exchanges, if one of them will be supported by the roaring kitties, i might just be buying some if they prefer PEPE. although SHIB would be my preferred one to hold.

Shib during its start was listed in the robinhood where most traders are stock market traders, this memecoin get those guys onboard into crypto. SHIB achieved a lot already.

I think, I have seen Shiba Inu in some of the the good Centralized Exchanges and and also pepe coin too and the prices of the two, Shiba Inu is the highest. And among the two, I will like to choose Shiba Inu coin to Pepe coin. Future of Shiba Inu is brighter than pepe coin both in the community support and in popularity. And from the other comments I also see that people who choose Shiba Inu are more compare to Pepe coin. Though I am not choosing it because of popular followers but it for the future. And I have not invested in it but if I will invest i will choose Shiba Inu.

Pepe’s early performance makes me suspicious of its performance in the following months, but at the same time Shiba Inu might be able to move together with bitcoin’s growth. There might also be a chance that we see a totally new and unexpected coin to emerge. As we all know many memecoins are coming out every day so let us not limit ourselves to these coins who have received many of speculations in the past years but is yet to meet them.

Both of them are meme coins which have good potential this year as long as Pepe coin appears, it becomes a trend in the world of traders and even reaches a new ATH. We learned from several other meme coins that when a coin goes up it will definitely dump again. if I prefer shiba because it has high market popularity with the opportunity to get 5x profits when the new ATH is reached.
