Rosenfield, among many others, are quite intelligent for choosing to support the Core. Of course there seem to be valid reasons as to believe in BU, however that is not my view point and, I believe, is not the view point of the overall Bitcoin mining community.

My reasoning is simple. The Core itself does not seem to be capable of being able to handle the large influx of users who have joined the Bitcoin community, and who are now participating actively by exchanging Bitcoin. If you watch the Blockchain, transactions keep getting blocked up every hour due to the hundreds of thousands of BTC being sent every minute. Clearly this is a problem for the community and there are ways to solve this issue. However, BU has done the opposite.

Instead of trying to help, the developers of BU just suggest to continually increase the block size up to a default 16 instead of 1. This is a very newbie way to believe why we should throw away the Core. Obviously, Satoshi had best wishes for his currency and would have predicted an outcome as this.

However, if there are those who really really really believe that the Core does not work and that BU is the complete solution, go ahead and watch the hard fork take place. Guaranteed when BU becomes an altcoin, it will lose so many supporters due to lack of interest and efficiency. It is no improvement from the Core, just a bunch of FUD created by people wishing harm upon the Bitcoin community. You'd see the Core come out on top, as it always has.

Thus, I 100% support Bitcoin Core.

core concept: be a sheep because rich people are jumping in fields.

if your only choosing core because another person said so. then your just sheep following richer sheep.

instead:
read code, learn consensus look at what is happening behind the sheep scripts.

look at the desperate motives of getting "big names" with money to wave their asses for kisses..
core want a corporate TIER network  not a diverse open decentralised PEER network.

so bas what core should be based on bitcoins ethos of NOT being fiat. and instead remaining open and decentralised using consensus.

by choosing just because Rich guy said so. then you have failed to grasp what bitcoin is about and you might as well just go play with fiat

You claim to read code, yet, you support buggy software that has managed to crash hundreds of nodes in less than a week.

Yep, seems legit.

How many more bitcoin legends worth-listening-to coders need to speak up for delusional BUcoiners to wake up?

Nick Szabo and Andreas already spoke too:

Delusional schizo BUcoiners will think everyone not agreeing with them is under some sort of conspiracy.

Quite long but somehow a good read. Everyone has the right to say their ideas and provide information for the public to read. My only concern is that they should provide sustainable and attainable results that consider that good future of BTC. Whether be it the side of Core or Unlimited, they should always keep in mind the long-term goal of BTC and not make this a "pissing" of who's right and wrong.

I support core.

I want BU, segwit and others to prove their technology works and is viable before risking the future of btc on their tech gamble.

None of them have done that.

All they've said is "bigger blocks".

That by itself isn't sufficient evidence to prove their approach works.

Meni seems like a smart person, but he is not a libertarian.  Just saying.

Political views
I am not a libertarian, and I find many of the views expressed by people in the Bitcoin community to range from silly to appalling.

Satoshi was anonymous for some reason.

How stupid are you guys to implement real people in bitcoin?

There is no leader, just ideas and markets.

Bugger off.

Roger Ver, Jihan Wu, franky1 and Hyena Cheesy

Who?

I've heard of the Jihan guy, but he's going to be the proud owner of a factory full of mega-expensive slow-ass toasters, once we get a PoW fork going. He's a nobody
