I've been studying their strategies for awhile now so I know pretty much exactly what they'll do, when it comes to things they don't like they resort to either censorship or denial, or very occasionally they'll resort to back-handed character attacks.

As true as that may be, I wouldn't say BBC is against Bitcoin. I don't watch/listen much TV or radio, but bbc.co.uk seems to report on Bitcoin quire regularly and the general tone, so far, was rather neutral (informative) to slight positive.

I know internet is the fastest way to get you information but still television and radio is a useful things altough nowadays is not really source to broadcast things but why not we tried it since we got the chance to broadcast it in both of them. The more you broadcast the more people will know it so its worth to try

Agree. Whats more, Bitcoin mentioning in the national radio/tv channel adds some sort of legitimacy. Internet is great thing, but anyone can present made-up story as news or fact, but once you see something in the official media, you know it's a 'real deal'.

It wasn't about Bitcoin but it would have been good to get a discussion on BBC radio 2 as Millions listen daily to this show.

It was on today between 1.30pm and 2.00pm gmt.

this won't change much, we have internet to spread thing about bitcoin, television and radio are surpassed as a communication tool

instead we need something that should point to the people that bitcoin isn't for criminal only, because apparently many(average joe) think so..

It wouldn't do much, but it will help in some ways. Televisions and radios are still used by the majority of the general public in almost every country in the world. Many people still rely on those things to gather information and news (like my parents do). Also keep in mind that not all countries in the world have access to the internet (some of them put censorship) and they get their news firsthand by means of television broadcasting and radios. As for the criminals, I can't still figure out why people think that bitcoin is that "evil" when compared to money launderers that use fiat as their medium of crimes. Huh

Facebook pages for this one or any available links? I can't help thoroughly, but I want to read something about it. Smiley

Meh, could be worth a shot, but the BBC actively censor stuff that doesn't fit with their overall narrative, so if they decide Bitcoin is for drug dealers/terrorists/peadophiles then that's what they'll roll with.

Lets not forget the BBC is a paedophile hiding organization i dont think they'd have any problems on that front.

Fantastic comment! This is so true. So many got away with it for so many years. Sickening

Yep, no mention. You were spot on.

Radio 2 in the UK talking about leaving digital items to loved ones if you pass away.

Maybe a good idea to comment on radio 2 Facebook and Twitter about leaving Bitcoin etc.

Worth trying to get it a mention?

National station so I'll do a Facebook comment. Millions listen.

Ps. Accidentally posted this in speculation too so sorry about that.
