Well, i have bad experienced in the past with mercatox, which is pending withdrawal and support is really slow respond, IIRC i get my withdrawal after 3-7 days, well that and old day and looks like they getting better now from people opinions above.
For me, i will avoid that exchange as much as i can, except the coin that i want to trade only listed on there.

The exchanges have been existing for some time now, and it has some decent volume so i don't think it is a scam exchange, though I have not used them before, but i know some of my friends that have used it to sell their bounty tokens and withdraw their money, so it's a good exchange, if i might say.

What's the coin that you are worrying that will be listed there?I've heard about it and I saw traders there that are actively trading but I'm also cautious about using an exchange. I don't want to experience something bad just to make sure that my money and coins are all safe so I followed the advice of most before that don't use that exchange.
You can read that some of the people here says that its not a scam and some says that its not a good exchange, take it or leave it.
I have an account there but haven't traded anything yet. It is still not quite that recognized since it mostly featured altcoins from ICOs that are not seeing that much attention. With regards to actual transactions, I cannot really comment. But some say it is still a good exchange, but not much volume going on there.

As far as i know this Mercatox exchange is not a scam and you can try it yourself to see if what they are saying is true or not. Register first and feel the ambiance there, deposit you coins little by little and trade it then withdraw and if nothing goes wrong then you can say that it is not a scam.
I don't think that Mercatox exchange is a scam exchange as you claimed unless you have an evidence against them, then you can present it for us to see, for me I have an account with the exchange and I have traded my coins on the exchange for couple of times. SO i think they are not scam unless you can prove otherwise

The only thing I will say is that, I have gotten some bounty tokens that was listed on the mercatox exchange and i transfer my tokens there and sold off and withdraw my eth back successfully and i did not had about issue with them, so i don't think they are scam
It's totally a wrong, Mercatox is a good exchange just some people have no faith on it. I sell many coins on Mercatox and buy also, everything is perfect. Mercatox has good security features like 2FA and also good amount of coins listed on it. I don't know why people say these type shitty arguments!
Mercatox is not a scam. This is one of the best exchanges. My friends use it and i have not heard any issue with it from them. Transactions are very fast there. It has one of most secured exchange specially in login account features and 2FA. They charge very less for transactions also.

Mercatox exchange was heard in previously but it is non popular exchanges so reputation is need for this exchanges and many reviews are comes in negative and few peoples only said it is good. So this exchanges is lagging in communication and many peoples are not aware in this exchanges. I think number of exchanges are available in crypto world but few exchanges only survive in the market. 
Don't be scared to dump your coin there because Mercatox is a good exchange and it offers a lot of services aside from the exchange. Many good coins are already listed their and I read no negative news about this exchange. This is just an advice of course, better to have you own study about this exchange and make a move later on.

A lot of them have experience that their asset being stuck and they can't do anything to withdraw it and if you are wanna taking the risk and you can try to dump it through use that exchange site and if you are feeling worried to lose it and then you could keep your amount rather than send your money on that scam exchange site. it's the worst exchange site like yobit.
Mercatox is one of the best exchanges i have seen so far. It is a UK exchanges and the best in that region. I use it and i have not had any issue whatsoever with it. The transaction is very fast. I also got to discover something in the cause of transacting on it, which is the transaction fee. I noticed that it is way lower than what most exchanges charge for transaction. When a hood coin lists on it, it is capable of growing exceedingly.
It's a real trading platform. If you do not feel safe then do not continue to use it. You have the option of limiting your risk, but do not share the wrong information so badly

No it isn't a scam it has been around for a while now. The reason a lot of people call them a scam is in fact because they have really shit customer service. They are based in russia and there customer service is usually broken english and takes them a long time to even reply if they do reply at all. They don't seem very capable and often have problems with withdrawls and deposits but they always fix the problem eventually thus making them NOT a scam. i wouldn't recommend using them as there exchange is extremely sluggish also and chances are you will encounter some difficulties that take weeks to be fixed.
