Hi I'm Jr.member here but i don't know how to gain MERIT. Please give me some idea. And i have read other post that you didn't ranked up from Jr.member to Member if you have not MERIT. Is that true?
Yup, it's true
Either you can try some merit giveaways where you need to point some quality posts done by you and they will be merited by others
or
come up with some unique and different idea, make a thread. You will be rewarded merit points for that.

The quality of being particularly good or worthy, especially so as to deserve praise or reward. A good feature or point. Or we can say A pass grade in an examination denoting above-average performance.

You can gain merit from other if they like your post or the honor your topic that you've posted. But now many user hold their merit thight and they don't give other even if their post is good in the crypto world and it is very constructive.

Many insiders. This bitcoin forum is always hoping to get Merit, because Merit rules are a big issue to raise the rankings, and it's only possible to get something if anyone likes your post and gives you a Merit gift.

Good days has gone. My wife is stuck as a Jr Level,  she wants me to pass some merit.  I said no!  I need more 250 merit to become a Hero Member lols.

Heres what we  can do,  be helpful.  Be polite,  offer some freebie.  Am sure in 50 people we can help, one of them can give us merit.

With Merit regulations increasingly difficult to rank, we have to make our post nice and much liked by people so they are willing to give Merit to us, and a lot of Jr members who can not rise to become a member because the Merit requirements are incomplete.

Merit system have been applied recently. Surely it is hard to earn merit since the choice of giving you or not depends on other participants. But unfortunately only few are participating making it really hard to get one. And that seems to be the proeblem with this system. Newcomers will be stucked on jr. member or if lucky, member rank on this forum.

As an example, this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.33251264 has deserved 1 merit. I try to find/make up a useful material, and it's really hard I must admit! Or maybe I'm just stupid Grin

You are in wrong section please move this topic to meta section. Honestly i am tired seeing a lot of merit threads in meta section aaking the same question that you asked "how to earn merit?" the always answer is post comstructively put an effort on your posts and it must be helpful to be merited. In order to rank up you must have ten merits and 60 activity to be in member rank. Go ahead and start posting constructively

What the hell is the big deal with merit. I'm just hear to learn a bit and express some thoughts. It's nice to see people acknowledge you but I'm not concerned about merit. I did give some to people who started threads like this but I'm seeing to many of them

Hi I'm Jr.member here but i don't know how to gain MERIT.

If you have truly read the post about ranking up as you have claimed, you wouldn't be asking if it's true. Of course it is true!

And I hate to do this; but your post history speaks more on the reason why you don't get any merit. Its because of some horrible posters that is why the merit system was introduced at the first place.

If you want to get merits my advice is; don't beg or seek for it. Contribute to this forum genuinely without bothering about the merits and it will flow in. I know the desire for merits to rank up is because of the signature campaign but it shouldn't be our number priority for been in this forum.

And moreover, this topic should be on the Meta section not here.

Yes, there is a certain amount of Merit for the upgrade now!

Merit requires you to publish some good articles and others will give you Merit!

But some people are reluctant to give their Merit.

I am not sure your topic should be in Bitcoin discussion section. But I answer your question.

You need 10 merit to rank up from Junior to Member. To get merits you need to write interesting, constructive and useful posts. Thus, you deserve the respect of other forum participants and they give you merits for your qualified posts. There is no list of defined rules, how you can get merit, but you should  ensure that your English is good, that information you distribute is useful and relevant. Try to take an active part in the discussions and thus develop the forum, and you will get merits.
