Merit giveaways are good and AFAIK aren't frowned at, but for you to start a giveaway, you need to be a user with quite a lot of smerits or best a merit source, you've been doing very well lately on the forum I must say, and it's great. You've earned 55 merits, that should give you about 27 smerits to give out, but you've sent out about 13 in the last 120 days(which is really good), that leaves you with less than 15 smerits, I'll advice that before you start a merit giveaway, make sure to have at least sufficient amount of smerits, it'll encourage many users to participate.@Nakamura12, I made this topic few days back: Possible red tag offences if you aren't out of smerits, you can review it.

Some are from other country and some are half filipino. You can also help participants here base on your own criteria or you can increase the merit circulation in pilipinas local board.

All you need to do is provide a link of your post/thread that you think it's meritable or it deserves a reward. I will edit this thread later on because i'm a little bit busy. I will now change the allocated merits to each rank and the 10 merits left will be reward to any rank from newbie to member rank.

I don't have much to say about the second post of your submission since we don't know why microguy sent that 20 merits. Asking is the only way to know about it. It may be a merit abuse, merit selling (not that I am accusing) or a generous merit sending. I would also like to know what are your comments for my 2nd submission. Thanks

You are right that no one did record their zero merit but everyone knows that every forum user who's rank is jr. member below doesn't have a single merit at all until the rank requirements has been changed that in order for you to rank up jr. member you must have merit. It is important and it is also needed to be shared to everyone. There's some explanation you explained in a wrong way. Everyone can link images but newbies that doesn't have copper member won't show the images. Newbies would still be able to link it but not able to show the image. This may be not the right board to post this kind of topic/thread but the reason why I post this thread here in this board (Beginners & Help) is because this is the board where most of newbies, jr. member and member rank will visit to ask questions or to ask for help from experts and since it's almost my birthday on this coming October 26 which is the next day in where I live and I will also have a merit giveaway/Merit Contest thread myself to celebrate my birthday in advance here in this forum. I will send merit to any participant that has met my criteria which I believe it's not very strict or very hard to pass my criteria.
A chance for jr. members, members to earn more merits and also newbies that still didn't received their very first merit yet. Since I don't have lots of smerits that I will reward to the participants therefore I only have limited amount of smerits available to send.

Jr. Member: 1 Merit/Participant
Member: 1-2 Merits/Participant
