this merit idea is pretty cool. aside from knowing if you are making senseful posts, I am amaze with the fact that you can send some to others as well. this could help to atleast lessen spammers as it will discourage them to make irrelevant posts.
Posting or replying an excellent comment, suggestion or opinion can gain merit. There are several users here who they call themselves as merit sources can give you one. So, make your replies as excellent or relevant as possible. Merit can make us promoted. A healthy reply is a healthy forum.
Also, if you have high ranked friend(Full Member, Sr. Member, Hero Member) he can send you merit points — so you can get merit regardless of whether posting is high quality or not.
