I got your point and the other guy ralonded well.
Was wondering as well if there's a way to get the merits other than posting comments.
Now , i have a clearer picture.

For people who misunderstood, I was not saying "hey why didnt I get merit so far....." I was asking what you do to get merit, looking at the future rather than feeling like I didnt get what I deserved.....

In fact, it's so hard to open the history of any user's messages and see what he's earned and how much:? you just too lazy to do it! Most likely you want somebody from us to offer you a useful message or maybe write it for you. Excuse me, of course, but if you open the topic of novices and go to each page you will see one or more questions from the novices how to earn their merits. Correctly said above that you should not think about it, love the forum and the forum will love you!

I havent actually opened anyones history to see and probably wont, I'm not trying to copy anyone gonna be myself and if that doesnt earn me "Merit" then to hell with it all. Not my type of thing....

I do not want anyone "from us to offer you a useful message or maybe write it for you", If thats your assessment of my post then you have some bad bad judgment.

I would very much like to grow in the forum and raise my level to Member etc...
When I look at your profile it seems like you want only to rank up to member for posting more and more bounty reports.

Just finding it a bit unpleasant with the merit system, do I have to look for posts where people have many merit just to get noticed?
Reading the Merited post are ok, but I don't think you want to be noticed for getting Merits. Don't bother about being noticed just read before posting and try to be helpful for other forum members.

Doesnt seem right... I post and discuss what I know about or interested to know about without having to fake my way but it looks like Merit wont rain on people who do that?..
Don't fake your way and always try to be yourself and post what you think which will helps for the other members while gaining knowledge for yourself.

Would like an opinion or two, cheers!
Best openion is read before posting and try to use search function as much as possible. Another thing try to avoid those underworld Bounties at least few months.

I hope following threads will helps you. Smiley

Thanks for your response, In short what I'm trying to say is.. I wont fake my way to grow in this forums system, will that eventually work? You kind of answered that.

Also yes a huge part of this is for bounties and for trading conversations ad ideas about Alt coins etc.... Thats why I'm here, for my second job sort of speak.

Best of luck and thanks.

I have been posting and never get anyone to give me any merit for my contribution. There is no way out, only just hoping someone will oneday find my post worthy of merit and give me some.
The same goes for you. Take a look ar your history. Do you  think any of your posts would be worth to be meritted? If someone answers your questions the way you did ... would you give him or her merits?

Just take a look at your posting history. Do you think any of your posts was that much helpful/informative/genuine to someone else so that he/she should have given you merits?

I earned my first couple of merits with How To's which took some hours to write.
