You should also not plagiarize your posts, steal from others. There's nothing against posting comments from others to generate discussion, just cite the original writer appropriately.

You should never ask for merit, period. That's likely to earn you some negative trust.

To get the merits you do not have to think about it. You just need to communicate on the forum for topics in which you understand, answer questions, help beginners. The more you strain for the merits, the greater the likelihood that you will not get them!

Asking legitimate and interesting questions can earn you some merit. Most of the discussions here are boring and is just a duplicate of one another.

You must try to find more information in the topic you want to learn. You can aggregate it to your post. You can post to help others or earn merit. It also helps increase your knowledge of crypto. Hard work, read and learn more is the only way to increase your knowledge and merit amount. Good luck

I see many posts complain about how to get merit so I have summed up some tips : you should do and should not do to be able to get merit.

1. You should

-QUALITY : Post good quality posts in the right topic to help each other

- SELL/TRADE : do not sell or trade merit

- SPAM : do not overpost and spam the forum, especially do not sent private messages for merits. Do not spam post like " how to get merit? " bla bla...

- DUBLICATE TOPIC : Use the search function at the forum first before starting a topic

- QUANTITY : do not post because you want to reach a target, but post to creat value
