Meta Mask really blocks many phishing links, so I use it with pleasure. The project team has made a very convenient and easy to use program.

I uninstalled my metamask as well when its asking me to update. Due to some reasons that I've been aware of extension spy, instead of updating it I uninstalled it.
I'm not aware of the extension spy, but be sure to follow their twitter for new updates.
Thanks, there are reports before that there are extension spies that are on these apps so that made me worried and stopped using them. I can't remember if that was posted here on its through social media.

Again thanks and I'll surely follow them on twitter.

About that, is there a clickable link to access the blocked site after the warning?. This is what I mean, you access a website and blocked by metamask and you want to access the site that is already proven by you that it's not phishing link or website and then you just have to click a link or button to access the site like continue to site or something like that.

I don't think you can without disabling MetaMask. If you're using it on Chrome, extensions are disabled by default on Incognito mode. You can also use a second browser.

About the underlined "please file issue" does it take much time or not?

The report itself shouldn't take much time, but whether or not MetaMask will take action immediately is another question. I haven't tried it yet, but if you encountered an incorrectly tagged website, you should probably try to report it.

I'm logged out of my metamask extension, I tried to visit a fake bitcointalk website, and it gave me this -

Logged in or not, you'll be safe from phishing sites.

EDIT: Use firefox or brave browser for your metamask extension. There was an issue about metamask extension on chrome before, although it was already fixed, it might happen again.

I got that also after I tried to click on the links in the last 2 OmiseGO mails.

At first, when I just started using it I was terified of spying too and hated how that little fox's head moves when you are writing your password.
After this with those mails, I'm glad I have it, feels safer.

It has written in the terms and conditions that metamask will never run on its on so if you see metamask turn on without doing anything it might be a phishing site

I think you should not go to this website with the browser installed metamask extension. Whatever the website is proven by you.
You can create a new profile chrome browser and go to the website what you want.
If you dont know how to create a new profile, I can show you.

Oh, nice I got that one too before. Hahahah though it is not a fake bitcoin website. I really feel safe using this platform and thank you for the answer you gave. Now I know that as long as the meta mask is in the chrome extension, it will still work even without an account logged in.

I uninstalled my metamask because I was worried about browser spying me and knowing that I use cryptocurrencies.
I edited my previous post. Anyway, you could use private window on firefox or brave browser for better protection. I'm not yet using brave browser, but there are many good reviews about it. It can also block ads, and trackers.

I uninstalled my metamask as well when its asking me to update. Due to some reasons that I've been aware of extension spy, instead of updating it I uninstalled it.
I'm not aware of the extension spy, but be sure to follow their twitter for new updates.

Before whenever I visit an unfamiliar website w/o logging in they are notifying me like this as well if its suspicious.

Very helpful example, I think OP you've got enough answer already.

Thanks for sharing this.

That's very useful.

I uninstalled my metamask because I was worried about browser spying me and knowing that I use cryptocurrencies.

However this is a great phishing defense.

As long as the meta mask on your chrome extensions, does that mean it will prevent phishing links?
