I have experienced, you didn't visit www.bitcointalk.org.
You visited
Code:
www.bitcointalk.to
That's obviously phishing link and I know metamask ban it. May be someone trying to hack your account. Please share with us who send you this link. DT will tag him if he send PM from bitcointalk account.

According to your screenshoot it's clear that you visit phishing site. This forum isn't block by metamask.

You are safe if you didn't enter your password.
I hope you got your answer, so please lock thread from lower left.

That's the link I visited and luckily it was blocked before I could do anything stupid.

Yes, I got the answer(s), thank you all for your responses.

I'm locking the topic.

The .to domain is a known phishing site - metamask is right to block it.

By .to domain you mean bitcointalk .to ?

If you bypassed metamask and logged in to the .to site, then you need to change your password immediately. Also, whoever sent you that message is clearly not trustworthy.

I never logged in to that site but since I'm always logged in to Bitcoin forum I'll change the password anyway just to stay on the safe side.

Thanks.

That's really strange. Are you sure there is no redirection of some sort from [Suspicious link removed] on my computer.

To be honest, I have no idea. I got the link in a message, here's the image from messenger: https://imgur.com/a/RoDyv7t

After I clicked it, the page started to load for a sec, then Metamask popped up and blocked the page.

I mean, it's great if there is no problems. As I said, I'm just a little concerned because this never happened before.

Thanks for your feedback.

That's really strange. Are you sure there is no redirection of some sort from bitcointalk.org to some other website? Because I can also confirm that there's no metamask warning for any page on bitcointalk.org on my computer.

Not on me. I can still see the topic of mprep.

I tried changing .org to .to to see if metamask still works and it gave me a warning after that.

So the problem is with the .to domain? I have to admit, I missed that. I got the link to check the rules and after checking the first part / domain name, I just missed the domain itself.

Hi,

A strange thing just happened to me - I wanted to open this URL - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657 - to go through the Bitcoin Forum rules but the site keeps getting blocked by Metamask, saying that it's a phishing site and thus not safe (see image here: https://imgur.com/a/JatXG57).

What is happening here? This is the first time I'm seeing something like that and I've been visiting this forum basically from the beginning of this year.

Thanks!
