I am using Metamask more than two years still i haven't faced any risk yet. Probably you send eth to that address or your device is shared with someone who knows about crypto or there is maleware in your device. If you really face this situation, you can transfer you remaining eth to another new wallet or can create another Metamask wallet. Don't forget to use antivirous software.

Maybe you forget about old transaction that have been made by you not hacker, besides that your money too small. Take security step into your computer/ laptop, clear all history & cookies, delete all not important data, scan with anti viruses but never forget to save your important data out side the pc. Never combine all activity in one place, financial activity should stand alone.

Maybe you've been following an airdrop or gift that should grant access from a metamask yourself, even if it's illegal or phishing will definitely be considered the same metamask yourself. Or you confirm fake link to get access to your wallet. I think it just seems to me because many of my friends were such an incident that I described it.

I  just saw this transaction that I didn't make myself. Does my metamask is hacked? I have 8 address in that account. and nothing is touched after that txn https://etherscan.io/tx/0x359dd6b8154e7711d9e21ad5520ceba687f58619d87a7a77dd66c5b103124d3a
I don't really know what happen to your account but there is so many bugs now are happening on the eth wallet or erc20 wallet that all eth balances are vanished without any transactions but when you try to refresh the page it will appear again.

I think it was you who created the transaction and you forgot it. Metamask is very secure and cannot be hacked.

or maybe he downloaded and install the wrong meta mask  ? if im not mistaken there was a fake metamask on the chrome/firefox store  . @op have you done transactions on the past using that metamask  ? what was your experience  ?

if its hacked then you better unlink all the wallets connected on that meta mask and add 2fa's on every accounts plus scan your device using antivirus   . try to download a new metamask that came from the official supplier and observe things  .  make sure that you dont download , visit or transact on untrusted stuffs  .

I think you should remember, have you ever opened it on that date and made a transaction. then have you ever opened a wallet using another device, for example on another PC or maybe even a smartphone. it can also be an indication, because opening 1 site with the same account on another device is also vulnerable to security.

I have never noticed any problems behind the metamask; basically, such problems appear due to the human factor. The reason may be the fact that you yourself installed the malware, well, or you yourself completed the transaction.

There are many possibilities that can happen. Not the hacked metamask, but your carelessness. Metamask has a fake plugin made by hackers, and there have been a lot of theft due to fake plugins. Then someone can access your computer or steal your browser data that is integrated with metamask. Many malware can lurk your device, use your best antivirus to overcome this.

you have to buy ledger nano s my friend, do it while its the black friday..
dont own your coins on a hot wallet on a computer that you use everyday

really sorry for your loss
I really believe that hardware wallets should be more popular than they are, I understand that no one wants to spend money in something when they can store their coins for free on their computers but when you see the huge amount of scams and hacks in the market you should think if you really want to risk your coins just to save yourself a few dollars.

Obviously hardware wallets are not impossible to hack and you can still lose your funds if you make mistakes but it is many times more difficult and that is what it is important.

It is a very small amount for a leaked of metamask, you should double check with yourself whether you did that transaction or not. If not, maybe you can ask yourself whether someone of your family or friends that knows that wallet.

There is no leak yet in metamask as far as I concern so there is a big possibility that it was your doing or your private key was being fish. It will be best if you create a new wallet and transfer all your assets now to that wallet. Though you have no big amount there as your remaining balance is only 0.124eth but just to make it more clever, then next time make sure that you can safely put your private key in a safe place.

I think you have forgotten and you have made some transactions,or you have downloaded the Metamask from a suspicious website. Meta mask is safe if you use it from your own pc and has downloaded from Meta mask original site.

Since you're saying you did not carry out those transactions, it's most likely your Pc has been compromised or a malware was installed in your browser. I personally have experienced such a situation and had to withdraw all my ethereum from the wallet. I've since stopped using metamask and settled for Imtoken.

Are you sure that transaction not doing by you?. That's already 22 days ago. When the last time you use metamask? Because I don't have a trouble with metamask until today. Just try to remember it?
Will possible memask hacek? I think only your self have connection with your Metamask account because you save your key on your computer and log in to Metamask using password have you set before creating Metamask account, maybe your friend or some one access to your phone and computer to log in Metamask account for sending all your assets.

It is really unfortunate but you seem to have been hacked, while I understand your desperation those coins are gone and you will never be able to get them back.

What you need to do now is to move all your wallets to a computer that you know is completely clean, generate a new set of wallets and send your coins there, we have seen many cases in the past in which hackers stole only a portion of your holdings and then after a few weeks they realized their mistake and stole everything they left behind.

During this time I use Metamask safe, there is a possibility that you have malware on your computer or other device, if you have a lot of assets in your wallet, it's better to move your assets immediately to a safe wallet and use another device that is clean from malware.

hmm btw what kind of Malware which is can do an automatic transaction on blockchain especially at ETH chain bro? never heard about that Cheesy.
or maybe hacker put some Payload file to control his victim's PC?

I believe you are not so familiar with Ethereum blockchain. It is like an open book, where all your transactions can be saved. If this transaction was not managed by you, than yes, your wallet is hacked and I would recommend to transfer all funds to another one.

Did you download some software that isn't familiar to you? maybe a malware was installed on your PC. And the amount that was sent to that address was already traded on hitbtc.

If you didn't do that transaction, you should transfer all the other balances to another wallet.

but I have too much game assets
Game assets? what do you mean by that? is your metamask integrated with other app games where you're balance is already connected to it? this is just a safety precaution in case your wallet is hacked.

can this be changelly transaction ?
Changelly's transaction AFAIK isn't like this.

there is a possibility that you connect your metamask account in some non trusted website
you should be aware that metamask is like an application but not a wallet that if you connect it in some website
there is a possibility that they will have the ability to use your wallet

Maybe you shouldn't be making such big transactions until you know what is going on. Why not make a new wallet in meta mask and then put a few $ so that if you do something wrong it is fine since a few $$ lose is worth the lesson learnt. Rather a few dollars then your entire main wallet. Also, keep separate wallets. Don't keep everything in one wallet. Don't forget to back up and remember where you back up? Print it on paper.

can this be changelly transaction ?

Do you mean that if you can recover your alleged hack Ether? Then answer is No since it's a success transaction and it happened over 2 weeks ago so there is no way to reverse the transaction. Also, it was already transfer on Hitbtc contract which is hard to trace where your Ether went. I suggest you create transfer all your funds on a new wallet but before that you must check if your computer or laptop is not compromised.

Since that is the entirety of the ETH in your wallet and you're certain that you didn't initiate the transaction, then it's safe to say that your wallet has been hacked, I personally prefer mobile wallets because I get notifications whenever a transactions is initiated in my wallet, considering how long that transaction was made and you didn't even notice, it think you should consider using a mobile wallet and be careful where you store your keys.

I am safe using Metamask for 2 years, I often see this case is usually done because of carelessness from the owner of the wallet, do you have friends who understand about your ETH and have you ever lent your laptop to your friend?
if yes, please check your friends, it could be done by someone closest to you, especially if you easily lend your laptop to someone else with a metamask wallet inside

First time I hear report that Metamask has been hacked. Remember your transactions because maybe you were the one whove done it. Remember, the transaction was done 22 days ago. Maybe you made transfer crypto for trading. If indeed you are hacked make sure to make necessary security check so as not to include your other linked  accounts.

I agree, always check your wallet every week, this is not recent it's 22 days ago, I have the same experienced I thought somebody made a transaction on one of my wallet, some 30 days ago and I remembered by checking the funds where I send it was from one my exchange, if your wallet is active and had funds on it, be sure to check it at least once a week.

This is your fault because it does not save privatekey properly, but it seems in this case the person you know (friend) is making this transaction because while using metamask since the beginning of 2018, I have never experienced any problems and if your computer is affected by a virus such as RAT and similar viruses hackers will also definitely have difficulties because they require a password to access your wallet.

metamask I think is still safe I still use to this day I think metamask still believe you need to check your computer/laptop I am concerned your computer is infected with a virus/malware you should be alert to the software at the enter virus/malware that can hurt you I think you should I am afraid to scan your data has also been exposed to the virus.
It can be his mistake and every crypto user should check the transaction details before clicking to the send button. Some spyware programs and keylogger attachments can change the address bar of the Crypto exchanges, online wallets, specific software without the further notice. I recommend to double-check the address section and reading the details carefully.

Metamask is a secure web browser extension, there is no way someone can access it unless you get a private key / Mnemonic Phrase and the first step security on metamask is the password, so make it as complicated as possible and easy to remember. the incident has been 22 days, and what you just realized, there are a number of tokens on your public address, if such an incident, why not move your token immediately.

Maybe, you installed third party software and gave authorization access? If you didn't send it to the correct address of the game funding site, there is nothing left to do. If you didn't make such transactions, just transfer the all crypto assets from the infected personal computer ASAP, and make a clean install of whatever OS you use with fresh Metamask or Mycrypto wallet.

Yesterday, someone also said the metamask was hacked. I do not understand why this case occurred. But there could be two possibilities: first, there is a metamask that actually clones so that it forces new users to install it. Second, your PC or laptop is infected with malware which can take your privkey, mnemonic, etc when you want to log in. Do not install suspicious software. Hopefully this makes us more careful.
I installed the original metamask and it was 3 months ago. i really can't move from this wallet

Why not if the same thing will happen over and over again?
Send them all to a new created address or else this will not stop.

Oh by the way, Why the hell is your hacker not getting everything in your account?
Have you ever wonder what if someone is joking around your circle of friends or your family members.

Metamask instantly integrates with many sites and you might have pushed the submit button as the address and amount are already filled by the site while you only need to push the submit button. It may also be hacked by someone/some adware recording your screen or your keystrokes. Or you could also be using a counterfeit metamask if you didn't downloaded it from the chrome webstore.

I think this is OP's case. I experienced this before I have several eth to other addresses several times. Upon checking, when your online metamask automatically connect and those unfinished transaction is being prompt to you. When you click, a transaction is being processed.

I don't like metamask for one reason, its a browser plugin that is what makes it dangerous to use, normally browsing the internet without antivirus you will quickly be a victim of viruses and spyware not to talk of keeping your coins in a addon crypto wallet

Are you certain that it wasn't your own doing? It's been 22 days ago, but you've just realized the transactions now? I mean, I get that you might be the kind of person who doesn't like to regurally check their wallet, but really. Try to remember it again. Either you've been hacked, or you forgot something, or... it might be a similar app as metamask you've installed on your pc.

No matter how you look at it, your ether balance was around 0.24ETH as at the time you claimed.
Hackers will not leave any balance in your account when they hacked it.

Just think of the transactions you made because metamask can not be hacked unless you give out your wallet details.

I think has someone access your wallet.Do you give someone a private key?
If you don't give PK for someone so certainly your wallet has been hacked because metamask is a secure wallet.
There are many ways a hackers to hack our device.

This happened 22 days ago and now you realize that your metamask has been hacked? hmm maybe there was a mistake from you or you clicked wrong or you installed an unknown application so that it triggered phishing to enter your computer, I have been using Metamask for a long time but it rarely happens like this.

I  just saw this transaction that I didn't make myself. Does my metamask is hacked? I have 8 address in that account. and nothing is touched after that txn https://etherscan.io/tx/0x359dd6b8154e7711d9e21ad5520ceba687f58619d87a7a77dd66c5b103124d3a
I am not sure about this but if that account is really hacked then why are you still sending some ETH in your wallet ? then transfer it again to another wallet.
If you are sure that you are not the one who transfer the balance you should transfer the reamaining balance to secured wallet and dont ever use that wallet again.

Metamask is a very secure wallet.  It's very unlikely that if there was a breach it was from their end.  Chances are the transaction was effected from your own end,  either because your device was compromised or someone physically sent it(which is very possible if you use password autosave).

Why you just realized now, it's a long transaction, and you should know from scratch because it's your wallet and sure every day the wallet is used for transaction purposes, I used Matamsk long ago and no such incident It sends by itself.

First time I hear report that Metamask has been hacked. Remember your transactions because maybe you were the one whove done it. Remember, the transaction was done 22 days ago. Maybe you made transfer crypto for trading. If indeed you are hacked make sure to make necessary security check so as not to include your other linked  accounts.

maybe you accidentally press send button when there's a request demanding for BTC maybe in the past you want to buy something with BTC? It makes zero sense to think that you just conscious of a transaction that you haven't done sending money to someone else after 22 days. Or if possible maybe there's someone close to you that knows or have access to your wallet?

Metamask is 99.9% unhackable unless it is your computer that has been compromised. You will need to be careful and do some investigation of your own. That transaction might be from you if you check well
Not true. You can get a malware that replace the address everytime you copied everything and then you can accidentally losing your cryptos or even keylog that record all your seeds.

This isn't acceptable news, metamask isn't hacked you could install something virus software. Or you didn't visit legit site. Phishing extension could scam your money. But I strongly suggest you to move all your Ethereum.

Did you download some software that isn't familiar to you? maybe a malware was installed on your PC. And the amount that was sent to that address was already traded on hitbtc.

If you didn't do that transaction, you should transfer all the other balances to another wallet.

but I have too much game assets

Metamask instantly integrates with many sites and you might have pushed the submit button as the address and amount are already filled by the site while you only need to push the submit button. It may also be hacked by someone/some adware recording your screen or your keystrokes. Or you could also be using a counterfeit metamask if you didn't downloaded it from the chrome webstore.

If you don't use for any transaction then you should withdraw your ETH balance and other 1 token that is showing in this ETH wallet address and avoid to instal any unknown software.
