for a situation like that, I also experienced it, however, it turns out that my transaction has been processed before, you only need to double-check the transaction path on etherscan, or maybe it's a network problem that occurs in mew.

hundreds of transactions I did there and never had a big problem, several times the gass problem but it could be resolved.
I now transact more often using the Forkdelta app. I think sending any tokens is easier.

I have worked with MEW several times , to check my wallet and to transfer tokens from it , I had no problem with it , Just Don't change the default gas coz its default is the best and if you decrease it , your transaction may never confirm and stuck .

before that, have you checked your internet connection and is eth that you send in accordance with the provisions of mew? minimum 0.01. I have been long use mew for a long time and I have never experienced a failed transaction on withdrawl or deposit. maybe you should adjust the gas price before the transaction matches the eth you have.

I also had problem with transaction in MEW but after I changed Network ETH from myetherwallet.com on etherscan.io everything works fine.

for all of those transactions that did not go through, are we being charged for that? I've tried 3 different times, none worked.  It's really frustrating.
You need to set the gas prices as recommended or more than recommended if you want your transaction to be processed. We can see that now the network is flooded with more transactions so it is better to avoid transacting your tokens or use high gas price otherwise your transaction will get pending for too long.

yes, for now myetherwallet requires a large number of GWAI to be able to use transactions, I suggest using GWAI 40 to speed up transactions.
if you experience a failure, this is because the token or coin is still locked from the developer
41 Gwei is the default gas as of this moment and having  A total of 79702 Pending Txns which higher gas would really be required.I already quit on using to sent
out tokens on MEW.It takes time since pool is flooded. Try to make use of Imtoken wallet which is more faster on making transactions or transfers.

I have never experienced what you experienced. however, I think it can help answer your question. I see you have a problem with sending tokens or ethereum to other wallets, and maybe the problem is:

1. The first problem may be the token that you sent in the locking stage by the developer's owner.
2. And the second problem concerns ethereum, maybe you entered the wallet that you sent wrongly. and also maybe at that time the ethereum network had a little problem so it had to use high gwei.

It's getting really frustrating because what we are doing here are more like trial and error.  I mean no one can really tell wht's the definite resolution to that. I'm in that situation now and have been trying to send my token since yesterday to no avail. tried changing network and i did raise Gwei too. I tried to send eth from mew to mew and it went by really quick, but when i went to sent the token to LAToken, that's where I had this problem. Someone help me please.

I've been trying to transfer coins and eth from my mew wallet, but it always failed. It's been months since i've first experience it and until now i havent made a successful transfer. I even used 20 gwei and 120000 gas just to make sure it wont have a problem with gas but still unable to make a successful transaction.

Anyone here who have been experiencing the same situation like mine? And is it still safe to use mew to store all your tokens from airdrops and bounties?

Thanks. 😊

The problem that I experienced on transacting with MEW sending tokens is when setting the GWEI with the low amount it will never process. Been doing it for a couple of times, don't have the idea if they are going to process it for hours or days, it lost all my patience and because o being impatient because of the urgent need I tried to cancel the transaction if it reached 30 minutes. I read a warning that maybe it took a couple of hours due to low GWEI but still nothing happened for 30 or more minutes so better cancel and made a new transaction using high GWEI.

This experience made me realized that we need to raise the GWEI to get instant transaction!

sorry I haven't witness that before but now in the mew what you will use for a successful transaction is 45+Gwei and 351000 using this there's no transfer problem.

it been long I witness it after I gone to study more about MEW.

Truly, I don't understand why people still use MEW for anything. It's too complicated, yet unsafe in terms of security features. I always recommend peeps using any other ERC wallets with passphrase like Imtoken and Coinomi.
Because it is much safer when only you have own private keys from your wallet. If Coinomi disconnects its servers tomorrow, then you will not see your money any more.

I also encounter same problem, but I already solved it by logging in using metamask. Just add metamask on your browser import your account and then go to MEW then log in using metamask....

just to add it if we transact on metamask we no longer need to open MEW, just do a transaction on the metamask, and later there will be a notification from metamask if the altcoin we send has arrived or failed, with the metamask easier for us to make transactions in each shipment altcoin.

Mew will only have a problem if you did not pay the correct amount of transaction fee because it will take more time before you can receive your coins more than other transactions.

I had the same problem today. Try to solve it by reloading tokens to make them visible on your wallet balance (right bottom in the MEW screen).
I have just reentered a token contract address, symbol, and decimals.  After that, the transfer was made successfully in seconds with just 4 GWEI spend.

For me it was the same problem and same solution. had to reload tokens and it worked

It says :
Sorry, We Are Unable To Locate This transaction Hash

I've tried sending just my eth balance but still cannot send.
Please try changing the Eth node, the default is ETH (myetherwallet.com), you can try any of the other three:
  • ETH (etherscan.io)
  • ETH (infura.io)
  • ETH (giveth.io)

Just want to confirm I'm success send eth or erc-20 tokens without any problem after changing the Eth node to  (infura.io), I've no idea why happen with default node (myetherwallet.com), send more than 10 different transaction, all of them only display Sorry, We Are Unable To Locate This transaction Hash, after change node, transaction confirmation success in 10 second, thank for help.  Smiley
It's a usually happened to the MEW, you must have needed to change the network into the other network or try to use my crypto as alternative to the MEW wallet. MEW node looks so difficult to connected the ethereum network. This has already happened with MEW so many times and try to use another network.

Please share your address here or the exact Error you're getting. Afaik for every failed transaction, a specific Error is stated:

ex:
Warning! Error Encounter during Contract Execution [Bad jump destination]
Warning! Error Encounter during Contract Execution [Out of gas]

And is it still safe to use mew to store all your tokens from airdrops and bounties?
For me, yes, as long as your Private Key has not been exposed to others. Btw, they have MEWConnect app now for extra security (available on iOS, they're still working on android version)

The first thing I would do is to try transferring a small amount of ETH so you know if it's a problem with some shitty token or a problem with your wallet/transaction. For ETH transactions you should set your gas limit at 21,000, for tokens it should be 200,000. You can look here to see what gas price you should be choosing: https://ethgasstation.info/

If that still isn't working, try broadcasting your transaction to a different ETH node. On myetherwallet you can select different nodes from the drop down menu at the top right - there are 4 different ETH nodes to choose from.

Well, maybe the thing is that the tokens are simply blocked by the developer in this case before the between wallets is prohibited. Sometimes this way they block the token for half a year so that the bountyhanters do not sell there most influencing the cost of the token. The best way is to go to the official developer group and ask about it then they can help you.
