This actually makes a lot of sense. The people who play games on microsoft services (like xbox) and the people who use bitcoin tend to overlap. This seems to be a way to increase their overall revenue as some gamers may not have fiat money but may have excess bitcoin from the days that GPU mining was profitable
yay for MS accepting payments almost. more exposure for BTC maybe they integrate BTC into their new Windows 10 OS when its done 
Its good for stability. However price increase wouldn't be good for stability. In fact if prices drop to 20$ there will be a huge influx of buyers and new highs of the sort of 2000$/BTC. Otherwise price will stay the same.
Good news for bitcoin users many companies will accept bitcoins but only takes time.
nice to see bitcoin is now gaining a recognition among tech giants and it experts.
Pretty surprising to see a dinosaur accepting new idea. Guess there is still hope for Microsoft they won't extinct soon.

And the price is 340$! If it happened in Jannuary we would have rocketed to 1500$
Already tons of big sites are accepting bitcoins, great to see an ever bigger one joining in now (although I thought Google would do something "New and Innovative" before Microsoft)
I've seen 2 or 3 posts about this subject, and I always think of something to write, such my satifação with this information.
