true, 1000 tickets sold would be epic for the Jackpot 

if you are going to 3 decimals then there are 1000 possible tickets .000 to .999.

I have thought about a preset of ticket to be sold but that will limit the grow of the Jackpot. For now no deadline yet, I hope members will see the fun of this lottery and buy tickets. Tickets are cheap. Later on I will set a deadline and will pick a Winner Block. And yes, we will roll no matter how many tickets are bought.

This is also partially determined by demand and other parameters (such as the current price -in fiat value- of BTC, if there is high/low interest/need for transactions etc. etc.)

Obviously, this is a gamble/lucky shot. However, this is a prediction, hence we need to know what exactly we have to predict about. It's not like a raffle where you choose a future block for the outcome (where there is no point to know in advance the block)

It's like asking us to predict the future value of BTC (in fiat value), and only announce a specific timeslot in the future for the price comparison (ie specific date/time) only after we place our predictions. This is also a gamble/lucky shot 

Further, you didn't answer my question. If I purchase a ticket now, and no one else purchases a ticket: Will you go forward with the lottery, and if yes in how many hours/days ?

No deadline yet was the plan. 50 or more tickets is the goal, all tickets above 50 will pump up the jackpot. But setting a deadline at a certain point can be done.

Making a prediction based on minted blocks is pretty difficult, fee total is also determined by how many transtions are in de block and how many BTC is transfered in total.

It will be a gamble/lucky shot, that's the fun.

When is the deadline to submit our guesses? Is there a minimum amount needed to be collected, before you pick a block that will determine the winner? (if there is only 1 participant to this raffle - for example - , and the amount x is not reached, will you still go through with this raffle?)

Edit: I might want to know in advance, the exact future block that will be used, in order to make my prediction. For example my prediction might vary if we are talking for a block that will get minted this week or next month. (this might sound silly since we are talking about total fees collected prediction, but still... I have to put all the parameters into my magic crystal sphere  )
