Nice share OP and yeah, I saw the one interview with him on CNBC or CNN (can't recall) where the host was trying really hard to drag him down to "so you've transformed from an IT company to a hedge fund?" levels but he actually responded quite well talking about not so much Bitcoin tech but the devaluation of US dollar. Pretty cool to go out like this, bitten by the Bitcoin bug he be!

I seen his tweet and I follow him on twitter, its his primary means of social media communication.

This is a great resource for people who may want to get into Bitcoin but are hesitant, we can all
send them this, its another tool in our arsenal.

We have to commend MS for what he is doing. He has realised what Bitcoin can do other than
its Peer-to-Peer functionality.

There is gold in volatility..
Michael Saylor is a great guy and i think he believes in the future of finance and currency to be defi and crypto respectively. I also believe he was responsible for Tesla investment of 1.5 USD into bitcoin. He once tweeted where he asked Elon Musk to move part of Tesla balance sheet into btc, he added that he would love to show his playbook with Elon Musk.

He is one of the advocates of bitcoin that has really helped bitcoin achieved alot in few months.

Feels great seeing him actually do something else(besides bringing the crap ton of publicity to bitcoin) to help the community.

With that said, I really can’t recommend it yet as I haven’t watched everything yet, but I’d figure some of you guys here might be curious or interested in it. I mean, it’s free sooo..

i went through the course and  i saw its relevance from two perspectives.

1. it helps to educate people on the economics of bitcoin, which is what the world really needs to know.

2. It also help to educate people on the technology of bitcoin, which is like the second equal halves of a probability.

With this knowledge many people will be able to judge accurately what btc is and what it is meant to do.

I think it's great that the course is free, and  it looks pretty good to me. Starting with how money works and what sets Bitcoin apart from other kinds of money is reasonable. Then the investment unit is I guess necessary because many people are interested in this. Then there's historical and ideological background unit which I would honestly bring to the top because starting from history makes more sense to me, but it's good that it's there. And even though the course is just 12 hours, it also covers the Lightning network, which is a nice bonus.

It is interesting concept but I think that average modern humans don't have enough patience to spend 12 hours to complete this course, learn more about Bitcoin and get a free certificate.
I would like to see some statistics after few months or one year and see how many people actually started and finished his course.
One more thing I noticed is that Stephan Livera looks a bit sick and scary in videos they posted, not to undermine his expertise for Bitcoin and blockchain.

in my opinion this will obviously be very helpful and provide broad insight into bitcoin, with this I feel he really pays attention to how everyone is looking for knowledge and all bitcoin related strategies, so he facilitates anyone to provide the knowledge he has to share and if this is free so it doesn't hurt to try to join.
It will be helpful but I think that a lot of the Twitter people are going to be skeptic about it since it is a free course and it comes from a businessman, we all know that there are people out there that doesn't believe that free is free and that a businessman will lie to the teeth to get what he/she wants but I do agree that it doesn't hurt to join, the only problem with this free course is either it is boring or the lessons will be shortened or left at a cliffhanger. I hope that this course will become successful and that it will reach even the people that are not particularly interested in the financial institution.

It looks very promising at first glance, so although it lasts a total of 12 hours, I hope that many will take their free time and educate themselves - and most importantly, it is completely free. What would be even better is to translate the entire course into several of the world’s most important languages - because although English has become universal in communication, many have trouble understanding it.

I have to admit to not knowing who Michael Saylor was before all this but he really is promoting bitcoin for us (and himself, let’s face it).

He’s shoving bitcoin down everybody's throats on Twitter & I absolutely love it.

He pretty much started this public-companies-buying-bitcoin trend we’ve been seeing lately(outside of Grayscale) so props to them for that.

And yea, even though some of his Bitcoin tweets are cringe, he’s definitely giving Bitcoin a huge boost in publicity. He’s been on CNBC a good number of times too.

That's the way to get Bitcoin to the masses!

A single course from a person like Michael Saylor quickly could bring tens of thousands of new people to the crypto world. And even better, most of them will have a decent financial education.

Haven't taken the full course yet, but at a quick glance, I would rather they started off with the technology of Bitcoin and the history behind it, rather than a unit on the economics and investing. It's a form of publicity regardless, and as more public companies get into the Bitcoin space they would begin to seek more ways of affiliating their business with it and maximize their returns.

Of course, he is absolutely interested in this because MicroStrategy has invested a lot in Bitcoin.
You could flip that to say; microstrategy is heavily invested in Bitcoin because of his interest.

I follow Michael Saylor on Twitter and I see him putting so much effort to increase the reputation of Bitcoin every day. Of course, he is absolutely interested in this because MicroStrategy has invested a lot in Bitcoin. But I'm glad to see he provides such useful and free courses like this for those who're new to the cryptocurrency direction. It's one more step to strengthen the capacity of Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
