Do they ever ban anyone? I thought all they did was put a scammer tag on you and let you run around happily.
He got banned, if you check his posts have a XXXXX rated
As far as I know, he wasn't banned. Scamming is not a bannable offense, as it doesn't speak to the value of your posts. You'll just be clearly marked as a scammer to protect idiots that don't read into post histories. That said, nobody should ever be dependent on that protection, if they enjoy keeping their money.
now I getting curios who is bannable at this point?
btw: thank you for call me Idiot!
Mainly trolls and spammers are banned. And I didn't call you an idiot, as there was nothing in his post history at the time that showed that he was a scammer, just accusations. I was referring to people who would get scammed by someone who was already confirmed to be a scammer.

I understand thank you for your explanation, I appreciate it!

you were warn about this guy. i use dwolla all the time and is safe

Dwolla has taken 4 days to get money out of my bank. Infact as it standa, money has left my bank to dwolla but it is not in my account. So as far as usefullness dwolla is not. Otherwise we wouldnt be discussing this issue
yea that does suck it usually only takes 2 or 3 days though and you dont have to worry too much bout being scammed. there is also paxum for the canadian users

From now on I will use Dwolla and stick to mtgox or bitcoinmarket primarily like I have. I will not use these boards anymore for this. The only reason I jumped onto MiddleMan's thing on the board is because of the Dwolla transaction being slow and I happened to have money in my Paypal. It just sucks that there isn't a way to move money out of Paypal for bitcoins, even if it involved a middle transaction like Dwolla.

serves you right. this a forum not an exchange

What are you talking about? Yes it is. Notice we're in the CURRENCY EXCHANGE and MARKETA SECTION of the website?
your the one crying bout get scamed go use mtgox or tradhill or something of the sorts. scammers do need to die in a fire but they are rammant here. trust noone kiddies

Thats just it - mtgox does not offer the exchange we both needed. Notice the reason we used paypal?

You're avoiding your original statement about how this is not an exchange site but say we're "crying" about getting scammed. We're letting other users know. This guy attacked twice and you're going to criticize us?

Thats the opposite of what happened. Infact, its good that we used Paypal because we can legitimately use chargeback. That thread is for when a buyer is the scammer and uses chargeback to scam, not when the buyer is innocent. Read the thread
