Did you ever reach out to Mike to ask about this and receive any sort of confirmation you got through to him?  Maybe I glanced over it (it's late and I've been busy engraving coins so my eyes are shot at the moment) but I don't see a message where you asked Mike to refund you money that you sent due to his website making it seem like these items were still for sale and he actually saw it.  From what I know about Mike he is a standup guy that just moved on to other things and would probably send you the BTC today if you had the details and he didn't already send it back to the sending address.

One thing I will say after reading what you wrote is that Kialara is nowhere near the level of Casascius.  Casascius coins helped Bitcoin grow, was a revolutionary idea, and he's made people who held his coins millions of dollars (he made 30 of the gold coins btw and only sold 5, Charlie bought the remaining 25 unloaded of which I have one).  Kialara saw this forum as an opportunity to make money.  That's it.  Remember the $100 bills he sold?  How do the buyers feel about that purchase now?  Mike would have never done that.  Remember him lying like crazy about his sales numbers?  I could go on and on about his manipulative actions like giving certain users freebies to resell in order to have them talk up his products.  It's actually crazy after my interactions with them (and I had many with both) that you could think Mike is a bad guy and Kialara isn't.  Like, mindblowingly crazy.  Probably the worst take I've ever read on this forum.

I'd like to know how many people sent BTC, probably not that many.
Mike did a lot for btc and physicals back in the day so I wouldn't call him a piece of shit. Also you're making it personal referring to his wife, etc which seems weird.
I have no skin in the game but unlike losing money on Alitin, Titans, etc.. I've never had a Cas Coin compromised.

he is referring to Mike leaving his site up selling the blanks - accepting payments for orders (site was left up and running for quite a while after he stated he no longer was selling any coins - how hard can it be to take the site down) and never shipping/delivering nor refunding/answering anyone who then contacted him about the issue.

You are right - I really wonder how many orders were taken on his site and payments collected that he just basically kept. I think I asked but do you have access to that wallet still to see if he returned funds recently? Do you have the transaction id's to see if he spent/moved the funds received?

NFL football is going real shit for me today and as I get ready to purchase a new car, I can't help but think about how much I dislike Caldwell.  Mopar called me out kinda on this, though I've spoken aobut this several times, never made a thread...Mopar, whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for, ur right, 100%

The skinny.. Mike left sales open for one item after he closed shop. Now I was a noob and I knew he mostly had closed down but these sales I want to say were live for 2-3 years at least after he completely shut down

https://casascius.com/

I sent mike .39btc for the aluminum coins.  You didn't need a money transmitting license for those, so figured he kept them live.  Anyways I provided all info, full payment and never heard a word back.  Mike is a programmer, who knows how to set up P.O.S. systems inside a website.  he damn well knew he got payments from his website when they were made.  Prob had some sort of special coded alert for them.  Again as a dumb noob I just said f it.  It was I dunno, 100 bucks tops maybe.,I believe less.  Just sucks as I don't have multiple private jets, mega mansions and all that that Mike has, .39 would be real nice for my new car.  But the point here is a thread is created so that people know who he really is. You all know I wasn't the only one to do this.

Mike thinks he's satoshi.  Mike, you're not.  You had a big impact on btc, sure.  But your'e not that cool and that important that you cant be a decent human being.

He did email me once as you'll see below.  It was brief and he told me to look at ebay, why would you not mention btalk?  He use to folow me on instagram but wouldnt even respond thee, he had like 200 followers or something...hes not a famous actor with a huge full inbox.

What Mike has done that shows his true nature..-

-refuses to address myself, or krogo , who Krogo built the fake Cas thread (which I've contributed a good bit to as well as others.  A link to it use to be up on Uber Bills, but it was taken down.  So I asked Mike if he could put in on his site.  No reply (multiple times).  He had a blog for a while where he mentioned he saw a VERY good 25 BTC Cas fake coin.  None of us have ever seen that.  So I've asked for that since the link is now dead.  No reply.  What krogo did with that thread will lead to millions of dollars NOT lost. If Mike put it up on his website, my god it would do so much to help others.  But, see the theme?

Mike was interviewed for the Encyclopedia,  yet he withed basic in..why??  I remember him saying he "thought" he made x amount of the 1 o gold 1k btc coins. He wasn't worth hundreds of millions then..how do you THINK you only made so much (Charlie Lee had a box of 25 made for himself alone).

Anyways I'n done I just want this thread to be in the archives many years to come to people get to see whom he really is.  One of the reasons I value Kialara so much and glad we've bome so close as his wallets are a millioin times cooler, more detailed and deals with shit all the time, that I'm sure he'd rather not but does.  I also know once Kialara brand is done, he will continue to support people..I know because he told me as much as have known him for nearly 10 years now.

Mikes coins , Gavins idea, tho the first funded coins and BIP 38 were huge contributions, don't get me wrong.  Don't let money change you for the worse like he has.  He spends his days burning fossile fuels on one of his 3 airplanes with his FAKE as can be wife.  Take a look at her insta account and all the paid followers.  Again, this is who Mike is.  As I wind down mu collecting days here..I wanted to set my feelings straight about him.

But hey Mike if you want to refund the .39, be a good step in the right direction.  You wont.  Prob never see this because he doesn't care about the community what so ever.

A legend became a joke.  Go check out his tik tok dances to see what I mean.    If this seems harsh? I dont care.  I speak the truth.
