I think these are the project in the Metaverse where they already have a roadmap before the bear market occurs and they just proceed with the plan no matter what the outcome will be and their courage has been paid off. Things are really hard when the situation of the crypto market is not doing good and the bitcoin's price is not rising. it's rare to see the NFTs raise millions of dollars despite the current market situation and it's a good thing to see because it makes the market alive.

You know mate, sometimes there are other communities here in the crypto space that look down on the bear market when it happens, just like what is happening now in this industry. Now when it comes to the matter of metaverse/NFT, I don't see any problem with that as long as it is legitimate, it can provide a good opportunity for the community to make money or save in the future.And as I mentioned that if a project is legitimate, it is not surprising that it will attract a lot of funding for the project because it is sure that this thing will do well in the future and that the community will enjoy it even more.

I also just saw a news article linked in a telegram group that said that VC's are still heavily investing into cryptocurrencies even now in this bear market. It even says a number and i was surprised that crypto projects were able to raise 30.3 Billion $ in the first half of 2022 even though we are in this bear market. If you think about it, it makes sense though. VC's are investing very early into projects. So it is completely normal if one of those projects takes a year or even longer to get listed from the point of the private sale or seed sale on. So once those projects that are now having their private sales are going live, we could be in a full bull market again.

Yes, I believe so too. I've stated it at different gatherings (off line included) that the next rally will present us with something that will top the ATH of last year. Investing into brand new stuff will never end, maybe it will be a bit more, maybe a bit less, but it will always be high. Reason for that is the simple fact that people just want to make x10 very quickly and they think that projects you buy at release will be the biggest chance. If you get in at day 1, buy quickly, and wait for it to actually become a good project then there is a good chance you could end up with something quite profitable. I know its rare for it to happen but when it happens you would probably have enough money to just sit back and relax and do not have to do that again, just have btc and be done with it.

I'm not sure the new project will last, but I'm very happy to see new projects keep coming and being developed by so many people. despite the millions of dollars they have raised, i hope the project can survive in this market situation, there are many web 3 projects and some projects are doing mainnet with anti quantum blockchain they created, there is interesting thing because developers always put security first

Commonly, the new bear bullish market will be bigger than the previous bullish market, especially for the Bitcoin price, that is why it is bullish. But, this doesn't guarantee for all altcoins, only altcoins that survive can really meet with the next bullish era and make bigger increases than in advance.

Well, not all nft are really making it during this bear market as compared to the bull market, lots of nft tend to be rugging most especially Solana NFT but still yet we still have some nft that are doing good, either nft or trading, bear season always produce millionaires, imagine that you had positioned your self in a good short on bitcoin when it was trading around $40k and you used a leverage of just x10, to avoid being greedy, then a huge fund was used in trading it that's a decent good profit, or an altcoins like xrp and you shorted it when it was at $0.8 currently $0.3 with a good leverage and good fund that's an amazing profit

Exactly, it doesn't matter how much millions new projects are raised, some will fail and some won't but only those that add real world utilities will survive on the long run, my advice for everyone is to choose projects wisely and only invest money you are willing to lose.So at the end of the day, millions are still raised because people know that they need to fund these projects in order for them to be good. If all people get together and pay 5k to a project, it won't take off and be good, so either everyone is in, or nobody should be in order for the project to have a result and not be in the middle.

There is always a good or bad view of the market. I find short-term trends always leave things that we can say about them a lot, both for quick profits as well as risk in general. Although I am not a full supporter of this field, I do believe in the potential they create, but perhaps it is too far from reality or imagination from the hype about them.

Right, but he is talking about Metaverse/NFT, maybe there are millionaires investing on them, but it doesn't mean that they will retain in this market. Once they get enough profit, they will get out and be on the look for the next craze.

But never do I see them, honestly. Have any projects gone high during this time? Can you please mention them?I'm not sure what you are talking about but from what I saw, the entire market is down during this bear season. Metaverse and NFT projects, perhaps they are down first before the huge drops coming, people have no interest in them as what I know. And I can't really imagine hearing a surge, that is certainly a sort of manipulation - don't dare to invest that otherwise.

By the way this trend was also happening since a few years ago. Only those who are afraid of not believing in cryptocurrencies are skeptical. Crypto is still developing day by day, if your idea or project is good enough, they will still invest in it, whether the market is good or bad. Investing for the future, for the future, that's a long-term vision. Many of today's top projects are also born during bear season, bear season is a fear of weak, trashy projects but an opportunity for real projects, they have enough time to train themselves to prepare for a big bull season in the future.
Fundraise has not stopped surprisingly since last year, the only difference is that most of the projects are either in another stage in development as old projects or trying not get into the market yet. I mean it is business anyway so it is their money and funding and that is up to them, it might partially be a bad news for them seem people seems to be selling their coins right now due to panic. If those NFT projects are in its cheapest, then maybe there could be takeaway from it, but that is pretty much it honestly.

Yes, millions are still being raised, but a few months earlier we were seeing billions being raised billions. VC trackers like Dove show us a big drop in VC checks. Although there is still an investment, now he seems more focused on the early stage and with smaller checks. But it's just a matter of macro market momentum. How many people will never see that money again? Those are way more important questions than the fact that some projects are still raising millions of dollars on investments, so while some may think that it is a good thing that those projects are still getting some funding I do not think that is something good at all.Investors never learned. After all the hard crashes of NFT projects, they are still into investing thinking that being the first one to jump into the wagon will give them huge profit. So basically, it is not surprising that millions of dollars are still being raised by the upcoming NFT/Metaverse even though we are at bear market. The only losers in this kind of scenario are the people who come in last since they are the ones to be buying overpriced NFTs.

The market doesn't stop from growing even on a bear market, we should not be discourage to invest instead take this time to look for a new opportunity to invest and of course to go for the best option where you can think you can benefit from it. There's a lot of new good projects, they are able to raise funds because they are a good project, I think this is not the end yet for the NFTs, they are still new and still have the chance to rise again especially when bull market begins.

Of course, we wouldn't be excited for the future's bull run? There are a lot of speculation at least that bitcoin might hit 6 digit figures in 2024-2025.
As for the NFT/Metaverse, it's the latest hype so what do you expect? New projects may have hundreds of times the potential and opportunity to return profits, but the risk will be higher than those that have been proven and verified by the community. Investing in new projects is not bad but for newbies it is not recommended, if you have the ability to do your own research and have abundant capital, accept risks, there is no reason why you should not invest in a new project. But for newbies, this should be limited because the risk is too high, you know the new project has no guarantee of success.

well, that's great news than the FUD circulating for dropping crypto. even, during a bear market, there are still many who see crypto as a profitable type of investment. In fact, I feel that when the price drops in a bear market, a lot of investors enter the crypto world looking for a viable investment. So, we see that even when there is a bear market, investors are still flocking to invest there.

but there are still very clever scam projects though, I've seen them and still trying to look like they are working on it but in reality its just a few seconds of a video game maker.
And I don't think there's something wrong with that. A lot of people in the industry are investors, after all, I don't think the market being bearish would affect their decision to invest in projects they deem to be interesting or would generate profit, projects would still develop properly regardless of the market after all. Additionally, a lot of the profits come from the initial release of the projects, so early investors can generate way more than they invested across multiple investments if done properly. So it's kind of like one win offsets the losses of the rest kind of thing.

Millions are always raised every year this isn't new, also it doesn't mean that 10k per Bitcoin is impossible, these new projects that raised higher funds are just another day another time opportunity to make money if you are smart, they are just preparing for the next bull season.

If this is for real, it's not really a bad news as these projects have been gathering millions despite that the interest is little today. The next bull run will surely be bigger than the last time and that's why we're all waiting for it.But, not yet the time to see it. Maybe we need to wait for a year or two.
