So, Milton might not be as bad as Helene after all.      Cool

It seems like Milton was worse for my area even though Helene brought more power outages.

Added later: I just realized that hurricanes are funny. All the chlurmcks who cannot handle the cold move to Florida where it is warm and then they get lots of hurricanes. YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. EITHER YOU GET COLD WEATHER OR HURRICANES. YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THEM BOTH. I personally enjoy both the hurricanes and the cold weather, and you should too.

Obviously you have enough electricity to power your Internet. How are other people out there?
The entire time I had electricity, TV, phone, internet, and water (unlike Helene), so I was able to respond during the storm. The woods right by here are flooded and the fish are by the trees because they are at a lower elevation but the residential buildings are totally not flooded because they are a couple feet higher. A few trees got knocked down, and there is some damage to stuff, but everyone I know seems to be alive.

I am in the middle of Hurricane Milton, bitches.

Regards,

Joseph Van Name

And how are you? Are you in the house or where?
I am alright, but a lot of the trees outside are not. I am in a condo in Pinellas county. And I went through Helene too two weeks ago. And there was also Hurricane Debby that dropped a ton of rain here this season as well.

It's creepy. I saw how a man tied his house to the ground with cables so that it would not be carried away.  Good houses should be built, not made of cardboard.

Has anybody seen this dude with one leg, they are calling him Lieutenant Dan, after the character in Forest Gump. He is in a boat right in the face of Hurricane Milton. The guy is crazy but getting a lot of media attention.

Milton might be REALLY SUPER-BAD.

Note that if Milton becomes as bad as is being predicted, the election might be cancelled because the nation might not be in any shape to vote. Biden some more years?

Hurricane Milton Is A Monster Storm That Has More Than Doubled In Size As It Approaches Florida

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/hurricane-milton-is-a-monster-storm-that-has-more-than-doubled-in-size-as-it-approaches-florida/
Hurricane Milton will make landfall on the west coast of Florida very early on Thursday morning, and it will do so as a much larger storm than originally anticipated.  As you will see below, the size of Hurricane Milton's wind field has more than doubled since Tuesday afternoon.  That means that this storm will do catastrophic damage over a much wider area than the experts originally thought.  At this point, some scientists are warning that the total damage from Hurricane Milton could potentially exceed the total damage that we witnessed during Hurricane Katrina.

This has been such a strange storm.

According to CBS News, Hurricane Milton "is the quickest storm on record to rapidly intensify into a Category 5 in the Gulf of Mexico"…

Milton is the quickest storm on record to rapidly intensify into a Category 5 in the Gulf of Mexico, Nolan said. On Sunday, the system was a tropical storm with sustained winds of 60 miles per hour. Just 24 hours later, its wind speeds had leapt to 175 miles per hour, far above the Category 5 threshold of 157 mph.

I can't remember so much concerns about hurricane probably since hurricane Katrina. Probably it shows that situation is very serious. Though, for me from different side of ocean it's difficult to see how things looks in reality.
I hope that worst case scenario won't happen and not that much damage will be made. For everyone who is in dangerous location now - stay safe!

It seems to me that in this area it is necessary to reconstruct houses, make them stronger and make embankments around, why is no one doing this?
Not talking about this specific case, but usually people learn and start to think only after something bad happens.

So far, the people I know and are from Florida have let me know they are going to be okey, because the hurricane won't directly pass through their homes and places of work, just a lot of wing spread and rain in their cases. Though, I have also read about massive evacuations going on in the central area of Florida, which is very concerning, to say the least.
Also, some people are suggested Hurricanes are going to become more dangerous as years pass, as they need warm water to move in the Atlantic ocean, as climate change advances, I am afraid we may see hurricanes going further north of the USA eastern coast.
Anyone in Florida, please be safe and stay in areas away from the path of this hurricane.

I'm seeing headlines stating "Once in a lifetime event" Category 5 Storm in relation to Milton.
Hopefully they are erring on the high side to drive home sufficient warnings to people to get
organised and hopefully over the next 24/48 hours Milton will begin to fade before making
landfall for the sake of the residents in its path, usually it does lose force when it hits land right?

That's cause they just went through Helene.       Cool

One thing we can be almost certain of. The Biden regime will not allow government to help defeat whatever disasters occur, or help victims in the aftermath.

All models show a direct hit, but most models predict a category 2/3.   From history, they always underestimate these things, probably to avoid panic.

What category do you think Milton will be when it hits landfall?   Testing automated image voting - click to vote.   Sorry I didn't have time to choose more creative images.  :/
