I will give the topic one more try by listing the obvious advantages of the coin. Disclaimer: it is my understanding of the coin
or as much as I could read from the press releases.Its foremost feature is scalability. You see, Mimble Wimble keeps note only of addresses with funds, so there is no publicly available track of every transaction happening around the world like in bitcoin. It allows for much smaller (in size) blockchain.
Then there is the ability to obfuscate the transaction addresses and mix funds.
Then, the technology hides the transaction amounts.
So Mimble Wimble is disksize friendly and much more privacy oriented than bitcoin.
I would like to hear if there are any news around on the coin or it should be assumed the idea is dead?
